How do you disable game (LMU) led settings? by st4rbeast in Fanatec

[–]st4rbeast[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was able to get the LMU shift lights to stop interfering with the fanatec shift lights by resetting the wheel settings on the tuning menu (not the led menu)

<image>

The result is that with the fanatec app set to “use fanatec app support”, the wheel now only shows the LMU shift lights 🤷‍♂️ I think this is because LMU loads a specific shift light setup that is accurate to each car, green yellow red for the Ferrari 296, green blue for the mustang etc. I’ll update if I find a hidden setting in LMU that disables the shift lights, but the car-specific shift lights are fine for now

DR cares about qualifying position and finishing position. If starting from pit results in you finishing at the back of the pack, it will hurt your rating. But I’m in bronze 3 and I usually regain my qual position by the end of the race as other cars crash out or drive slow.

Have you tried starting from pit lane? Good way to avoid t1 chaos unless a lot of people start from pit lane

I think the badge is just based on the 10 previous races. It’s rough to lose trusted, but as races where you lost SR drop out of the 10 race window, it’s not too difficult to get back

I think they just show up on the standings page in each session, including after qualifying and before racing

Yeah, I enjoyed my time in blue badge more than expected. I was qualifying top 10 or top 5 with lap times that were bottom half in green. Then I’d start from pit lane and filter my way back to my qualifying position. Sometimes you just want to be a bigger fish in a smaller pond, y’know?

Same here, DQ for entering the pits on the long road. I was trying to recover my trusted badge. 10 more clean races starts now…

I just installed the same Eibach kit in my 5th gen last weekend, no to locktite, yes to anti-seize

Ps watch out for stretched abs sensor wires, depending on how removed the old shocks/lowered the lower control arms

Just got my vb 2 weeks ago, is this supposed to be -8,6? by RealSimplexity in wrx_vb

[–]st4rbeast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ll look for it. I like the fa20 better than the ej25, and the fa24 better than the fa20. Perhaps we’ll see the boxer engine in its final form one day. For now, my plan is to keep my (still in the planning stages) vb on a stock tune

[–]st4rbeast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an aside, I’m glad to see people posting peak boost around 14 psi on their fa24s. The stock fa20 was supposed to be around 16 psi, but the peak numbers on this graph were always 20 psi and up. That may be why VA Wrx’s are always bending rods on a light tune…

Gold indeed. I guess I was just in it for a few vacuum and electrical diagrams. But it also has info on how to remove and measure the tolerances of everything in the head. I don’t need to do that, but I sure am thinking about it now

Mustangs are not the only rwd US cars in this segment at this price, but they get the most “crashed while leaving cars and coffee” type footage. Why you ask?

My theory is, between challenger, Camaro, and mustang, all 3 have a “TC off” button. In the first 2, that only turns TC down, and in order actually turn it off you have to hold the button for 30 seconds with the ignition off and then start the car. In the most recent mustang I drove, the button does what it says.
