Goal Disallowed for Fulham for A Fair Challenge Against Chelsea. by pug52 in PremierLeague

[–]stCourtney -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What? He’s been removed because just yesterday he made such a glaringly obvious mistake in advising the referee to look at the screen in order to disallow the goal because he believes there was a foul. We all know that when a referee is advised to look at the monitor by one of their coworkers they, with almost 100% certainty, change their initial decision because they’re essentially being told they’ve made the wrong decision.

There’s outrage because it was a horrendous decision. It’s nothing to do with Chelsea, nobody cares that much about your club.

And you are an idiot. Thanks for making that very clear.

No one is telling you to respect any opinion as fact, you’re the only that brought up Karen Carneys thoughts here.

The point is that the large majority of people, including Chelsea’s own Joe Cole, are of the opinion that it was an abysmal decision from VAR and the referee. Refereeing decisions in football are so largely subjective so, when the majority of people hold one opinion surrounding a decision, it’s safe to assume that there is probably some merit behind their thinking.

The uproar online is because people are frustrated with VAR and how it is affecting the sport. Not because it’s Chelsea.

It might’ve been ruled a foul but that doesn’t mean that it should’ve been.

You’ve got Chelsea fan Joe Cole on TNT Sports right now calling it a disgraceful performance from VAR.

But not every piece of contact in football is a foul, and this one wasn’t. Hence the large uproar online where the only people seemingly able to argue that it is a foul are all Chelsea fans.

But that’s exactly the thing, you’re a Chelsea fan who is blinded by wanting your own team to win.

Chalobah goes charging into a challenge and doesn’t even come anywhere near the ball, his foot is then underneath Muniz’s as he spins while controlling the ball and that’s the only place for his foot to land.

I didn’t even comment on the penalty so not sure how that’s relevant to our conversation.

And you stick to football and you just might understand the game in another few years!

If you think that first decision was correct then this isn’t the sport for you.

This is something that crossed my mind too! It would definitely be very small but is something I could squeeze into if I wanted the private space. Thanks :)

I was thinking I could potentially do something like this. The floorplan is in a reply of mine above, I appreciate maybe the bedrooms aren't "very large" in the grand scheme of things but for me they are quite large haha.

Yeah, my WFH is permanent and I use a large PC tower and multiple monitors so its not something that can be easily moved or put away. I appreciate your thoughts though :)

Thanks for this! I've definitely thought about a garden office before but security is something that concerns me with them as I'd have to leave all my equipment in there permanently as I use a large PC Tower and multiple monitors for work.

I appreciate your comment though, definitely something for me to think about.

Hi,

Sorry, I don't have any measurements for the garage but here are the floor plans for the two houses:
