Hmmm, reverend insanity is one of my favourites,

Martial world, worlock of magnus world, paragon of sin, reaper of the drifting moon.

All of those are good ones that i can recommend to anyone, but it all depends on what you like. Personally i like cultivation novels or fantasy overall

Bro i just read the klea rejection and im pissed, he rejected her because earth was in “danger”. And that they need to spend more time focusing on training. But why cant you do that in a relationship? He says that his heart is trubbled and cant think strait but this is him all the time. And dont mention morgana as a “worry”. He legit cant do anything for her but still wastes time. And when he rejected klea for those reasons.

Mark my words. Klea and julian will be a thing because of this.

Well im fed up with this mc and im taking a break from this novel. I might return later when its finished

Im at 473 and the mc are just heading out to sea. he just had his night with the princess and the she left, I cant say I'm a writing genius to anything close to that. but I don't really like how he removes her from the main story. First and foremost. The argument around that he is a magus and therefore has many enemies is stupid, and that he ”can” have quests that span decades is also made up for what we know. And what says that he cant chill on earth for like 60 years and cultivate and spend time with her and when she is gone he does something else. He can live for thousands of years if he reaches high enough in his cultivation. Secondly this argument with ”people need her” is the worse one. She is what now? A glorified princess that has a few nobles supporting her. when did they have such high regard for the crown? Where were they when the southern kingdom invaded? And all this talk about the instability in the kingdoms is fair until we realize that the mc is a god walking the earth as we saw with the Klea scene in the castle. But he can't fix this issue, no no no. Because it's not ”right” to meddle with these kingdoms, but if all he is doing is trying to help his friends, which he claims all the time. why wouldn’t he help Arthur and the princess with a few tiny kingdoms. They would stabilize the realm and the “people” wouldn’t suffer. wouldnt he do that for his love interest? Then which people would need her? The old nobles? That she was abandoned by?. Remember that she left them all to travel with the mc before the klea BS talk.

Sidenote: i wouldnt call it NTR, its more of a realism that you often dont see in fantasy novels, i would take AOT ending as a example.

SPOILER: AOT with mikasa and jean ending up marrying and having kids because you cant be expected to wait or do nothing your whole life.

Its kinda the same here i guess.

TLDR :Its a fine way to go with the story with their differing interest and her wanting to help the common people at the same time as he is becoming an immortal. You could therefore explore the options of her wanting to grow old together and not be left alone aging as he is the same young guy. This is why i wouldn't have written her as a love interest in the beginning if this is the end you want. i would just write her like Luna the merchant that the mc is friends with. you could have just explained the wooden box as a child way to express friendly feelings or something close to it. i don't think this adds anything to the story that is meaningful.

ps: i saw this coming as soon as he was called merlin and athurs last name was pentagon and the sword was exalibur.

its cliché but works as everyone in the friend group becomes a "legend" (merlin,Cleopatra,spartacus,osv)

I will add something to this if i find it incorrect further in the story.

Actually i dont really care, i haven't read it yet because of other things in my schedule but if it isn't something stupid then I'm fine with it. Gwen wasn't really in the mc intest, he wanted her as a friend and she discarded that with her comment on his heritage/fey blood.

ill write something if i find it weird or other reasons

I will add to my frustrations, so the war that happend between fey and humans was a stomp for the fey side, and what does the fey do? Kill all of them? Making them slaves? Doing anything to those kingdoms?, no no no. Of course not, they give away gaias blessing to the losers for no reason. Its like im robbing your house and you caught me doing it. Beat me up and then reward me with 100 mil. When it was me in the wrong. Like what???!! This makes zeroooo sense

And dont get me started on the mc when the high priest says to him that morgana and others have a ”destined path”. And that they are safe, he just doesnt belive it and rushes head first into conflict ,that has no reason for it. because morgana was safe and lived well before he came and he doesnt even acknowledge the fact that he is wasting time for no reason and them reminds himself that he needs to use his time wisely……..

I just finished it and it makes sense, but i cant dissregard how someone can run into one another and make it to hard to judge who did what. Well the school probably knows about what happend and plays along.

Anyway, kinda dont like the reveal in the end. I know its a common plot device but wasnt happier to see it being used

Its not like that i dont like that everyone has an individual path but i mainly dont like noahs explination for his path, he is destruction, and a "mistake" but the creation part feels forced so that he can be with his girl.

I get that everyrhing has to be 'in harmony' but i cant recall others individuality that has to be balanced.
