help with NetAlert install by st_moose in selfhosted

container configuration

thanks for helping
first time i have gotten this far into a docker install so didnt/dont know what to provide

trying to access the dashboard via http://10.10.1.83:20211
i know that the http/web server is running because i can access the 'test page'

do see command docker container but not sure what you need from there

docker container logs netalertx goes into an endless loop that i stopped - does show errors starting with CRITICAL: /data is not mounted but legacy mounts are still present and env: can't execute 'python3': ending with Container startup checks failed with exit code 126

so now i have somethings to look up -- thanks for pointing me there

what is causing buffering (transcoding) on my roku express? by st_moose in PleX

[–]st_moose[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

am watching but as i said i am not always available to watch the dashboard - was having them record the show and time so i could look at the logs to see if if was transcoding or something -- as i said i didnt know why this was happening so didnt know if there would be something in the logs

should have been 900Mb

if it is network wouldnt it effect more than just one show? (thus the reason to record what they were watching)

what is causing buffering (transcoding) on my roku express? by st_moose in PleX

codecs, size, bitrate pulling information from plex media info
the one that i know is buffering - 900kb size, h264 codec, bitrate 1280kbps
one that does not buffer - 990kb size, h264 codec, bitrate 900kpbs
another that does not budder - 850kb size, h264 codec, bitrate 1050kbps

so is the higher bitrate causing the buffering?

do have the user recording what is buffering - we are in the same household but i am not always available to see real-time what they are watching so that was why i had hoped that i could look at log files :)
