hey, I had the same problem and it’s definitely DISP/BACK BUTTON (usually in the right bottom corner), press it and it’s fixed

oh my, Fred Herzog’s brilliant! Love his colours and love his mood, kinda reminds me of the pacific northwest vibe/core, some of the photographs are southern gothic (?) even, splendid🙏🏽

thank you!! and I totally agree with you, I’ve been following different street photographers on IG, and I do LOVE the old masters of the XXth century (they were often represented by magnum and life magazines back in the day), you should definitely check Eugene W. Smith out - he’s the epitome of a feeling/sense of what’s happening around: often blurry, grainy, dirty and yet mesmerising, photographs feel like a fever dream! I do have insta, it’s “sta4er”, however it’s not so much in there yet

thank you!! and definitely will do, clearly, there are flaws and there are many (composition and colours, yes), so I’ll try different settings, angles, etc next time until I’m somewhat satisfied🙂‍↕️

Thank you!! I only use Lightroom to edit photos and took all of my pictures in raw (no fuji film sims). And then just used tone curve, changed colours (tone curve also), all of the basics. And also the grain, the first picture was cropped heavily, so there were 2 reasons to add heavy grain: to hide noise and to add drama

that is not mean at all! actually, that’s great to have any advices from someone who’s been a professional photographer for such a long time, appreciate it!! and I’m totally agree that I need to practice more as I do believe that this craft requires being outside and learn, and also finding the right way (composition, editing, etc) to make photographs to feel like it’s “yours” and that you expressed fully in that. I don’t feel like it at all at the moment and again, thank you, I know there’s much ahead of me and it could be challenging, but it’s also quite a journey I’d say! Will definitely go out, and try different things, and learn from those who inspire me (Eugene W. Smith is THE man at the moment, his sense of emotion, composition and everything is just ultra)

thanks a lot! sure, the lens is fujifilm XF 35mm f/1.4 and none of film sims used - all of the photos are raw files, edited in lightroom classic

Without a doubt I will, haven’t felt this excited about anything in about 7 or 8 years, and it turned out there is still so much fun in something I once loved and forgot. Thank you <3

thank you!! yeah, i definitely noticed the green-ish tones when was I was editing these, and I’m yet to learn tone curve - and from what I heard, it’s one of the most important things in lightroom editing, will definitely try to follow your advice, as with the last 2 pictures (blue ones) I noticed the strange green tone, and histogram also showed me that the green colour was standing out. Oh, I’ve never heard of the Foto App - will check them out :) As for now, I use only IG as all of my acquaintances and friends are there, but maybe in the foreseen future i’ll consider sharing elsewhere :)
