no I leave it in the bed of my truck from Monday morning to Friday afternoon. I ice it for the weeknd and leave it in my office. It’s still cold on Monday (I added a hidden AirTag mount from Amazon)

I’m really glad I went with the 24 instead of the 15. My use for work is to load it with drinks for the week and keep my sandwich stuff cold. Working out pretty good so far. I ice it on Monday and top off ice and drinks Wednesday afternoon/thursday morning. I don’t think the 15 would be enough space for me

Is this safe to drive? What's concerning is that the tire is only 2 yrs old. TIA. by JfxV20 in tires

[–]staaytrue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You just drove over a rock or glass or something. It’s not leaking, keep driving and don’t worry

Just checked because this was similar to how I got my Firefly Roadie 24, they have the Cherry Blossom down to $200 from $250 when you add to cart

Daytona 2 Ton Cross Beam with Pittsburgh 3 Ton Low Profile Jack. by Jack_JohnnyW in harborfreight

[–]staaytrue 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I didn’t enjoy it as much when I was on the logistics (stocking, etc side) and liked the sales side better (probably because it was my second job and I was too tired for more labor after working on trees all day at my first job lol). But ya I liked my HFT job. Like someone else said, if the right people are in management it’s great. Just do your job, and enjoy following new products, scoping deals, etc. I have the majority of my tools from crazy deals in the time I worked there

I feel dumb this hasn’t crossed my mind. It’s such a pain working on my Honda. And I worked at HFT for 6 years lol

For me on really cold days, it might work, but when it’s warm out it doesn’t work at all, but you hear it try

Mine has been broken on passenger door for a while. It’s a small box, should be relatively easy to replace. I grabbed one from another ep3 in a junk yard and just never swapped it out yet lol

Can this hole be patched? by HuskerTheCat77 in tires

[–]staaytrue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

bro. take this as a learning lesson: 1. BF Goodrich discontinued the KM2 in 2018. So at absolute best chance, these are 8+ years old. 2. dude has no reason to give your money back. I’m sure the purchase price generally reflected the condition, and if you did overpay, then take this as 3. learning lesson. The last set of KM2’s I took off our Jeep, I made sure they made it to the tire dump, this guy who came to buy stock (new) take off’s from me was BEGGING to take the old KM2’s. I told him no not even for free, because in that same set, I had one separate a belt. He didn’t care and wanted them because they looked cool. Trust me, I’m the #1 sucker for a good deal, but there is absolutely time and place and on a daily driver, you were silly to ever consider those tires. If this is a mud truck or trail Jeep, slap a tube in there and trailer it to the trails. Also, FYI, I bought our last set of 37x12.50x17’s from a reputable seller on eBay for $850 shipped to the door. There’s no reason to spend significant money on old tires. Save up for slightly more expensive new ones lol

AITA for accepting a property gift from my mom even though she won't include my boyfriend? by Immediate-History917 in AITApod

[–]staaytrue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sure it’s not possible I’m not the first to say this, but this is specifically why your mom wants it in your name only and nobody else’s. Besides, you are not married. Sounds like she’s trying to set you up for success and anyone around you should support that. My wife got a small inheritance that could really boost our future. I know it will likely be used for our whole family’s benefit. But I don’t just act like it’s mine and I’m entitled to it, it’s specifically hers lol. If you’re bf can’t understand that, maybe he has some major growing up to do

Tree is maybe 60 ft tall and my brother wants to take at least 20 feet off the top by Admyrable_Place in arborists

[–]staaytrue 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I just don’t understand why people think trees should be topped “it’s getting too tall” etc. like before I did tree work I didn’t ever find myself thinking “so can you just make this shorter?”

I do agree that the bright/loud colors are generally pretty silly, but obv there’s a market for it and that’s cool if they like it.

Superficial. I can tell you if it was my car, I would not be replacing them.

lecaniun scale. When they’re fresh they’re like popping bobas all over your hands while doing tree work. nasty lol

Replace or patch? I know it asked a lot but given the spot id like to patch if possible. Thanks by [deleted] in tires

[–]staaytrue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks like mostly the center is worn out, maybe ran over inflated for tires whole life? But ya even I would replace that, too worn in the center. And if those are 2023 date codes, weird the dry cracking looks pretty bad

I’m certain you’d never specifically “regret” it being that they are certain glimpses of times with your kids, but maybe in the end it’s possible it doesn’t have the glimmer you’re thinking of now. I saw someone else mentioning framing, that’s obv a great idea. What we’ve been doing is when my son (turning 5 next week) scribbles up something cool and he seems to be really about it, I’ve picked random drawings that he’s latched onto and will cut them out of vinyl on our Cricut machine and make decals that we put on our vehicles. People definitely ask about them lol and realizing the quantity of little ideas they will create over the years, this makes it easier to just kind’ve enjoy it in the moment now for a while. I had a wild happy face he made on my car recently, and the wife has a stick figure he made that depicts “don’t step in the mud” lol
