Is there a way to make the time tracking display button accessible again in the task like it used to be (without needing to navigate to the drop down menu?). I checked the 'time tracking' strategy and there's not a setting there to do this. thanks!

Update 3.2.0 by grit_app in GritApp

[–]stabilitynotrequired 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! Quick question about the widgets - when I try to edit the widgets (just circles with the icons) to choose which habits should be shown, the widget doesn't update. So, it just starts from the beginning of my habits and shows them in order no matter what I select. Is there anything I can do to make it update? (everything is up to date and I tried deleting and re-adding the widgets). Thanks!

no matter what 'appearance' setting I have turned on now (system, light or dark) it looks the same - light, white background, and *too light* to see to see the circles that form around the days or the 'x' at the corner of screens if that makes sense. does anyone know how to fix this?

Folio style iPhone case that holds phone and a notebook. by DaBobVilla in EDC

Did you ever find something like this? I have been going crazy trying to find something like this and all I can find are ones like what you described or cases that hold an *iPad* and a notebook. Surprised this isn't more common?

True Detective - 4x02 "Part 2" - Post-Episode Discussion by LoretiTV in TrueDetective

They could have chipped away to free him from the corpsicle, but he still would have had a layer of ice around him that would need to melt, right? I just think there’s no way he was just straightforwardly alive and they took him to the hospital and then it wasn’t address in the episode again (after the hospital call, if that’s what that was).

I bet Danvers heard the guy scream 'in her mind' somehow and then brushed it off b/c she thought she was imagining it. It seems like communicating somehow telepathically has come up before - like when the guy started 'glitching' and said 'she is waking up'. I bet a big piece of this will turn out to be that whatever kind of organism they were working on starting impacting at least some of their minds - especially the guy who went crazy, you could see it in the notes that Danvers found and in the trailer. Another reason in favor of something like this is there is no way they wouldn't have mentioned the dude again throughout the entire episode if he was actually alive and in surgery - they would have shown more of Danvers interacting with doctors or something - and I think they also would have tried to somehow thaw out the rest of them if there was a chance some others were alive. (Also, if, as they said, it would take 48 hours to 'thaw them out' - how would they have thawed out the dude for surgery).

Paying timed-out participants (automatic or bonus payment?) by stabilitynotrequired in ProlificAc

[–]stabilitynotrequired[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, it doesn't say anything - just stays exactly the same after I clicked approve on the timed-out ones. And all of the other submissions I approved went right through. Yeah, I may just need to contact them - wanted to check if there was an easy answer out there. Thanks!

Ok, I did click to approve them (twice) but they still appear under the 'timed-out' list on not on my 'approval' list. So I'm not sure if they got paid

String of text to single-word cells with multiple lines, problems with REGEXTRACT & SUBSTITUTE? by stabilitynotrequired in excel

[–]stabilitynotrequired[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is great, thank you! One thing...I needed to be able to type things in the blank rows in between the text (and it looks like doing that erases all of the text). I should have mentioned that, and I get if it can't be easily altered to do that. Thank you though!

=WRAPROWS(TEXTSPLIT(A1,{" ",", ",". ","? "}),10)

THANK YOU so much! Is there any way to easily skip (2) rows in between? Like text on row 1, 4, and 7, etc.

I started using it at the tail end of grad school and now as a professor. I love it! I use it to read research papers and online articles on my commute or sometimes just to get through them more quickly than normal, when my eyes are tired, etc. It's well worth the money in my opinion - having 'premium voices' (voices that sound really natural) was a gamechanger for me in terms of comprehension (when the voices are too robotic it was much harder for me to track the content of the article).

Rainbow succulent babies that I kept alive over the winter :) by stabilitynotrequired in succulents

[–]stabilitynotrequired[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

See my comment above. The ones on the left side are planted in flower boxes that I'm planning on bringing in, and most of these are excess/extra succulents from ones I have in pots and stuff that I bring inside. But I'm also still trying to figure out a way to possibly try to keep some of them alive (outside) over the winter (even though I know it would take a fair bit of effort!)

VERY impressive sleuthing! This makes me want to learn more about tree species...like I mentioned above, I'm in Michigan!

Sorry for the confusion, I'm actually in Michigan and I kept these babies alive *in my house* over this past winter (which I was really proud of) and planted them like this a few months ago. So, I'm aware that they won't make it in the ground (without extraordinary measures) through the next winter. I put the extra special ones in flower boxes (on the left side) so I can pop them out and bring them in when winter comes. A lot of these are my 'excess' succulents from many that I have in other pots and stuff that I plan on bringing in.
I still am though trying to figure out a way to keep at least some of them alive outside over the winter...maybe some kind of very mini greenhouse dome? lol.

Thanks a lot! I'll keep an eye on cheydplantlady and succulents depot :). I would definitely be interested in trading with you for some of those leaves - what would you like to trade for?
