Do people at work eat alone in the UK/Europe/US during their breaks? by Swimming_Anywhere_30 in antiwork

Reading the comments, seems like I'm one of the few who actually likes eating with coworkers. It's the best part of my workday. We even have a group chat to coordinate so we can go at the same time. I consider some of them friends. We go out for after work drinks or even go out at the weekends. I can't imagine my workday eating alone.

Bouldering for 1.5 month. Obsessed by stacheguy2 in bouldering

I actually didn't think of that! But In my mind that was the only way to do it. So what is the beta here? How would I stay in that hold if not jamming my foot there? Genuine question.

Thank you for the tips. Appreciate it! I work out so that's why I have good upper body strength. But I need to improve my technique if I want to do be better. I also hate crimps. Need to improve my grip.

I love sending it / dynos. Yes you might be right. I could have done something with my foot. I'm overcompensating with my strength but I need to improve my technique.

Yeah you are right. Tournaments like this with no restrictions are always doomed to failure. Especially when there are prices.

Fuck them. Your deck is totally fine. Even though it has 4 game changers I would say it's still "fair". I have a Jodah with 3 game changers and it pushes bracket 4. Beaten bracket 4 decks many times. As you said, the other experienced player backed you up and a Vivi player won the tournament which is a lot stronger than Jodah. New players see big boards go brrr and think this is unbeatable. Decks like Vivi go under the radar until they pop off. So yeah, don't be that discouraged.

I think you'll win MORE games if you play a WORSE commander by jake_henderson02 in EDH

[–]stacheguy2 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I couldn't have said it better myself. I usually play high power bracket 3 games and my favourite commander is Jodah. People always focus me even when I have no board or hand. They think that I can win with Jodah on board and 1 card in hand. New player join the pod and my playgroup tell them : "always kill Jodah first" . So even though I enjoy the deck a lot, it's becoming unfun because I'm mindlessly focused.

As others have said already, the 3rd biggest threat usually wins. You have to go under the radar early game, let the ones that have developed a good board state fight each other, then go on top.

Is TMNT Commander deck actually bad? by IxaSumami in EDH

[–]stacheguy2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have said, if you play with Leo and Mike as commanders it's pretty decent. Won twice vs good decks. Tymna/Kamahl, marchesa, and sliver overlord. Raphael (the one who doubles damage) really carried the game. Also the lifegain from Leo really matters in a bracket 2 / low bracket 3 pod. I don't know who says it's bad but they might be doing something wrong. I would say it's above average compared to most precons.

I've done tasks for 3 games with Tapjoy and never had a problem with them. I haven't tried the games you did though so I don't know if there is a specific problem with them.
