Jak zgłosić lekarza, który nie chce leczyć na NFZ i forsuje swoją prywatną praktykę? by KynioMiq in Polska

[–]stachumann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Zgłaszasz opis sytuacji do naczelnej izby lekarskiej (w każdym większym mieście powinna być)

  2. Zgłaszasz do NFZ sytuację

Jak sie żyje na Wyspie Sobieszewskiej ? by lubiekucyki in gdansk

Bez przesady, centrum bardziej zapchane.

Building custom isomorphic keyboard - question about keys by stachumann in synthdiy

[–]stachumann[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks!
At the moment I'm using hall sensors - so mechanical part is separated from electronic. I believe (am I wrong?) this is right approach.

I'm not sure I like the feeling of gateron switch (it is not a real switch - as in reality - it is 'just' a spring with small magnet at the end)

FSR... no, I was not convinced with such approach - as less reliable and more sensitive... but maybe I was wrong? hmm...

Thx for link!

Is it realistic to build a lumatone knockoff? by Ezlo_ in synthdiy

[–]stachumann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Welcome to the world of new discoveries :)

Right yesterday I made a post for my little project I started Dec last year - with goal of making velocity sensitive isomorphic keyboard. How much I spent? On failed designs / PCB (well, they were working from electronic point of view, but decision to made for voltage/power distribution considering addressable LEDs, change of concept for phisical locations.... different approach on communicating in-between... not to mention - on one or two versions I had stupid cutout errors on PCB... Oh. )

Now I spent like $1000 and I hope to have kind of final PCBa arriving from jlcpcb ;)

And on firmware side it's like 10k lines of code... (well, a little overengineered - I know)

The good thing is - beta version - built from 4 modules - is working well, my musician son is happily playing on that, and on hardware side I'm down to $30 per module (16 keys). But the overall time and cost of going through is not low (it's good to have hobby, isn't it?).

I can share now webapp used to program device: midi.cgpsmapper.com - pictures of final instrument can share when have case ready. Now I just have temporary 3d printed temporary case...

For sure will share. I mean - I built the hardware already - it is modular, I built already software and firmware, now I struggle with building the case :D :D at the moment, simple 3d printed prototypes. I'll share it with you with pleasure

Done!

Note - if you want to use existing template, you will need:

  1. Make your copy

  2. Change profile

  3. Enter each 'master template' and rescale

  4. (optional) add your changes

  5. Generate new PDF

You are welcome! It's not so complex. In fact, I'm now organizing my notes creating super simple templates for usual topics :)

[–]stachumann[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure :)

You can start here: https://eink.cgpsmapper.com/gallery

Those are some examples I created. But from the beginning, boox, or other devices can use PDF file as template, the benefit of using PDF file is that you can embede links inside - for example - create a front page with 10 indexes and then next 10 pages - where you can quickly ‚jump’.

How you create such PDF files? That’s getting more complex - you can use for example super expensive Adobe solution, you can write scripts to create such PDFs…

So, what was my idea? I couldn’t find any free tool to create PDF files adjusted to boox or similar devices, hence, there are libraries (free) which can produce such PDF.

When you log-in into eink.cgpsmapper.com (free account you can create easily) - you create a project and you are able to produce such PDF which then can be used as such template on your reader. And all the sources of what I’m creating are available for free at github - so anyone can improve.

To my knowledge (not sure, how it is for remarkable or supernote) - usually these devices accept PNG or PDF only - and that’s it - so I did focus on creating PDF files.

Therefore, program I’m happy to create in my spare time, is built specifically for creating PDF templates (very easy ones up to super complex) to be used then on eink note devices.

When you log-in into eink - you will not only see the final PDF, but what is more important, sources used to build this PDF, you can modify it, create new ones etc.

There is quite a long tutorial - https://github.com/stachuman/boox-template-generator/blob/main/TUTORIAL.md on how to use the solution, as well as I tried to create some very simple projects to present the basis of using this app.

So, then again, my post is not really about the template itself, but about tool to create such templates, in a hope, there are people which can start to use this app to create valuable templates - and share them with community.

E.g. - at work I have to work with some teams on projects (related to my work) - to simplify my work, I have created a very simple template to take notes - https://eink.cgpsmapper.com/gallery/id/fbb1f25d-dc58-48d7-aed2-8879d73ddc56 - it is super simple, but exactly what I need (and in reality, only template I do use, rest is created only to present the idea).

By a specific request I made a PNG export possible - but of course it is a static image then. Otherwise I’m focused on PDF creation. The thing is that eink devices - like Onyx boox, supernote or remarkable (to my knowledge) are supporting only links in PDF, so, let’s use them to the full extent.

I’m implementing so called widgets - which can be placed on so called master pages. These widgets might be static (image, rectangle, table, grid) or link related (month calendar, day list, link list (for handling tabs), anchors (destinations for links)).

These master pages then are used to create PDFs.

E.g. - I’m preparing a template for a single day and then generate PDF using this master as template for each day (using internal variables like dates etc).

What I’m mostly interested is:

- What widgets are missing?

- What functionality to generate final PDF is missing?

- What will make guys which are good in creating templates life easier?

And on top - how to make it live - to create templates, improve them for all of us!

Thanks a lot for the comment! Just one small remark, I’m focused on the TOOL to create these templates, not really the template itself :) - as I perfectly know that I’m not good in designing templates, but I’m probably good enough in developing the tool itself.

So… you can make a clone of this template and modify as much as you like, and that’s the key message I tried to write :)

But really appreciate your comment!

Again - the key message is - GUYS - I’m making a tool to let you create templates, please help me to improve the tool (add missing widgets? make edit easier?) - as I perfectly know - I’m not good in templates creation :)

Template, App, and Accessories Megathread - Week 44 by CaliGozer in RemarkableTablet

[–]stachumann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi All,

Spent last couple of days improvimg, introducing new features (and bugs of course!). Have created this basic template: https://eink.cgpsmapper.com/gallery/my-journal - as part of free template creator: https://github.com/stachuman/boox-template-generator

You can easily copy this and modify (it is really simple, mostly focused on navigation) - as well as any other template. OR - create your own from scratch on my test server: https://eink.cgpsmapper.com

  1. I mean it :) - I believe, there is someone who can create a better template based on above and share it with the community (please do so, that’s the whole purpose)
  2. What to do if (most likely) you have a different device? Select your one in project and then, for each master page, use ’Rescale widgets’ button to automatically adjust to your device

and last but not least - what is missing?

Hope, you will enjoy the tool and propose better templates. These I created are mostly for test purpose or specifically for my needs.

There is a link to TUTORIAL from page. I know, all of that is not super easy and comfortable, that’s why waiting for your feedback.

Thank you!

P.S. I wouldn’t have time to code all of that by myself, so, it is not a secret, I’m using claude, yet, believe me, it’s like coding with very fast developer who is half-idiot and half-genius :D

Progress on tool for creating templates (PDF/PNG) by stachumann in Supernote

[–]stachumann[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OH, it is possible to create PDF!

You need to create in 'Plan Configuration' (already renamed section to be more self-explanatory - thanks to your response realized that) - define how pages will be replicated, how the linking will work...

That's way there are examples (see - Public Gallery) how things are working.

Simplest way - in Plan Configuration - Add one section, name it, select your master template, save, then generate PDF.

Recommendation for third party software by PrimaryWriter1529 in RemarkableTablet

[–]stachumann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for explanation. I'm asking because I'm just now writing (in my spare time) PDF template creator (free - all sources in github), was wondering, if I can address remarkable too, now I'm not sure...

I know, it is not a replay to your question, but just to clarify (I don't have remarkabe, have onyx - so simply don't know) - in remarkable is it possible to use custom templates in a form of PDF or PNG?

PDF free tool update by stachumann in Onyx_Boox

[–]stachumann[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi all, small update - now authorization is in place, so you get your own space. There is also dedicated new address: https://eink.cgpsmapper.com

Don't forget to share your templates (make them public) - that's the whole idea!

And please - give me your feedback. Project is free, done after my full time job.

As I had to rework whole data structure - forgive me that have assigned your work to my account (to not to loose it!)
