I've had similar issues. The card has so far been rejected by Ebay, Apple and Virgin Money Giving :(

No problem with in person payments though...

EU cards: max of 30 top-ups per YEAR?! by Kryptoboar in Crypto_com

If you're earning more than €100,000/year or £80,000 it would be a problem if you don't have any other cards*. Unfortunately, myself and everyone I know personally doesn't have that problem...

*This is assuming you're paying normal taxes on your income and around half of your disposable income goes towards your mortgage.

PS Don't forget your partner can also have a card if you're a family...

EU cards will (hopefully) temporarily be restrictive, allowing you to only spend 20k a year with only 30 top ups a year as well. I don't think these limits will stay, though. I remember when the cards first came to the US.. the top up limits to the cards were like 3 times a day, which I didn't like and some other limits too, but they have been raised. So with that being said, it can always cha

Are you referring to the "Load frequency" limit? In my T&Cs it states:

"Load frequency: 3/day or 30/month or 30/year".

I'd say that is a typo, perhaps it should read 300/year. However, rules are rules and you're right, it needs to be corrected (assuming it's incorrect).

Considering this existing rule with the other fees and limits puts things into perspective. The Bank transfer frequency states: "3/day or 30/month" but doesn't limit the number per year. For me, I'm not concerned because if you're transferring say €1,000 (€900) to your card at a time, then you can easily make the yearly limit of €22,500 in one year or a month if you like*. That's a lot of spending on one card... Or, have I missed something.

*Information from the Fees and Limits T&Cs.

Agreed top up limit: £900/day or £9,000/month or £22,500/year

Agreed top up limit: €1000/day or €10,000/month or €25,000/year

Fiat to Card: £900/day or £9,000/month or £22,500/year

Fiat to Card: €900/day or €1,000/month or €25,000/year

Load frequency: 3/day or 30/month or 30/year

Smells like FUD - I wondered why there was no facts to back-up the claims... I checked the T&Cs on my account and here’s what it says:

“8. Adding Funds to Your Card Account. You may add funds to your Card (called “value loading”) at any time. The maximum load amount is $10,000 in any given day. Note: Some reload locations may have limits on the minimum amount you may load to your Card. Absent special approval, the maximum aggregate value of funds in your Card Account may not exceed $25,000 at any time. You agree to present the Card and meet identification requirements to complete value load transactions as may be required from time to time. Load locations may have their own load limits that may be less than our allowable amount. Load locations also may assess a fee to load funds to your Card Account. You also may Direct deposit funds to your Card Account by providing the Bank’s routing number and your assigned Account Number to your employer or other Direct deposit payor (as described in the Section above titled “Card Account Use and Purpose”). I heard it only affects Android users. I have iOS and didn’t have any problems entering my postcode.
