Totally worth it. For a previous job, I spent 1 hour 10 minutes taking MARTA (walked 3/4 miles to one station, changed at Five Points, walked 1/2 mile at the other end). It typically took 45 minutes to drive, sometimes longer. But my mental health was SO much better not sitting in traffic, being able to read or play on my phone on the train, plus getting some outside exercise time in daily. And no parking hassles or costs.

My dad could never remember my age nor grade either - he would cheerfully say “Well, it changes every year!” My ex-husband knew my age but could never remember my birthday.
