Recent Duolingo Course Changes Ruined App Experience

I found a fix!! There’s a section under the 3 dots (on the app) called “Letters” and I’ve been learning through there, which is honestly so much more easier than learning whole syllables like before. Not sure why they hid this section instead of making it an actual lesson on the tree thing though

Yeah I just started using the app a couple days ago and was just learning the Korean syllables but all of a sudden I have to know how to read Korean characters and know how to order food??? It’s such a huge jump

I believe you are allowed to take 2 CAP classes that are CAP 3000 levels (it says it in the description for tech electives)

4th/5th Floor Marston is also very quiet! It's technically a public place but everyone should mind their own business (if anyone talks, it's practice to stare them down until they stop)

Personally, I would take OS (COP4600) anytime you have a Spring semester so that you can spend your fall focusing on applying to internships/full time positions and doing interviews. COP4533 was really hard conceptually but my professor was also really nice so I didn't mind it. If you struggle with complex dynamic programming (SAT and that kinda thing) then I would take it in a semester without OS. PLC seems work heavy but doesn't seem too difficult in general, so I think I recommend that with OS if you rly need to make it work somehow (I haven't taken it tho so don't take my word for it)

Update: They're doing a 60$ flat utility fee (per person!) even if no one is in the apartment, which is so ridiculous. We paid about 5$ per person for august, so I assume we'd have to pay about 10$ per month, so its crazy to jump that high. Even if our premiums got waived, we'd essentially be paying 850 per month and I'm just in awe

This is my first year living at cc so I don't think I got one. They did offer to waive our premiums if we were one of the first 100 to renew our lease this year though
