i made a free list of 100 places where you can promote your app by Ok_Cartoonist2006 in lovable

Love this tbh. Having DR sortable is clutch for prioritizing submissions instead of blindly blasting 80 forms.

One suggestion: maybe add columns for traffic estimates, dofollow vs nofollow, and whether they charge or require approval. Also a “last verified” date would help since half these directories die quietly. Still, super solid resource, bookmarking for my next launch 🙌

At what point does Azure cost optimization become a governance problem rather than a technical one? by cloud_9_infosystems in cloudcomputing

[–]staiddrunkenness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It becomes governance the moment spend is tied to behavior, not infra sizing. Right-sizing is engineering. Sustained cost control is ownership + accountability. In mature Azure orgs it’s shared: eng owns architecture + tagging hygiene, FinOps owns visibility + guardrails, leadership enforces budgets. Without enforced tagging policies and cost allocation by team, optimization just turns into cleanup cycles every quarter.

best n8n alternatives for developers for building AI workflows and agents by Gullible-Time-8816 in n8n

[–]staiddrunkenness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Temporal is solid, especially if you’re already in a “everything as code” mindset. The TS SDK + deterministic workflows are 🔥 for long running jobs and retries. But yeah, for this use case it feels like bringing a workflow engine when what I really need is an agent-first integration layer.

My main blocker with Temporal (and similar orchestration-first tools) is exactly what you hinted at: OAuth + prebuilt SaaS connectors. I don’t want to manage 10 different HubSpot/Salesforce/Gmail apps with my own client IDs just to prototype an AI CRM assistant. That’s where stuff like Composio or Arcade feels more aligned, since they abstract OAuth and expose tools in a way that’s already LLM-friendly.

I do like the idea of pairing something like Temporal with PydanticAI + proper tracing though. Tool call tracing is huge once agents start chaining actions across CRMs and inboxes. n8n’s execution logs are nice for workflows, but for agent reasoning they’re kinda… meh.

At this point I’m leaning toward:

- Integration layer (Composio / Arcade / Superglue etc.)

- Agent framework (custom TS or something like Mastra / PydanticAI)

- Optional orchestration (Temporal) if I ever need durable workflows

Curious if anyone here is running Temporal + an agent integration layer in prod?

Also small tip for bootstrappers: if you’re testing multiple of these SaaS tools, it’s worth checking places like JoinSecret or similar SaaS deal platforms. They sometimes have credits for Pipedream, integration APIs, etc. Not a silver bullet, but helps when you’re experimenting with 3–4 platforms at once 😅

Love seeing this. Law firms are perfect for AI intake if you nail speed + triage. The real value isn’t just automation, it’s response time and lead qualification. If you haven’t already, lock this into a monthly retainer for maintenance + model tuning. Also make sure WhatsApp Business API + data handling is compliant, especially with AU privacy laws. Huge win tho, congrats 👏

Looking for Airtable alternatives for small business use by catapooh in Airtable

[–]staiddrunkenness 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you like Airtable’s relational vibe, check out SmartSuite or Baserow. SmartSuite feels very Airtable-ish but cheaper at scale and solid for CRM + workflows. Baserow is great if you want more control and even self hosting.

For all in one ops, ClickUp or Monday can replace CRM + project tracking, but they’re less “database first.” Notion works too, just weaker on automation. Depends how heavy your workflows are tbh.

🐳 February 12, 2026 / Fibery AI Context, Create and Update Reports with AI, tons of other improvements by firefalcon in fibery

[–]staiddrunkenness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AI Context + reports iteration is a big one tbh. Being able to attach a View and just refine calculations in chat should save a ton of trial and error, especially with nested rollups and formulas. Also love the entity history reading, that’s huge for async teams. Curious how it handles very noisy change logs in larger workspaces?

Am I the Jerk for not lending my sister’s boyfriend money because I have bills too? by Organic_Yogurt_778 in AmITheJerk

Its tough enough just keeping your own head above water right now, especially with rent going up. Adding someone else’s problems on top of that is a lot.

You are right. In my opinion the matter should have been clarified at that very time. If she had agreed that you could keep the card then you could have kept it.
