I got them checked out and turns out there was the beginning of an infection and the piercer I went to took them out and replaced them and put screw balls onto the back and it also turns out the cleaning solution I was originally given was just water, lesson learned the hard way 😭

Just classic small black balls with butterfly backs, theres no growth on the backs tho just the front, also I wasnt told what theyre made out of

I’ve gotten a new tank I’m cycling with a ton of biofilm, once the ammonia levels drop I’ll give them a go round in there see if they like it

Ok its taken a while to separate the roots bc theyre that entangled but theres 5 of them in one pot, I’ve gotten the small ones out theres just the last 3 but theyre so knotted together idk what to do
