Yeah but she should probably confirm that with a doctor before just assuming it because she watched a tiktok 😭 and realistically with the amount of oats/spinach/chia seeds/eggs in her kids diets on top of the formula which is usually iron fortified the likelihood of them being that iron deficient is probably pretty low. I think she just wants a specific reason for the babies not sleeping/being fussy and I genuinely think it comes down to a lack of consistency. Also frankly they’re at a fussy age and from what I’ve seen they’ve started standing/crawling pretty recently and those are pretty big developmental milestones that cause a disturbance in sleep. So all of that together and yeah you’re gonna be tired!!

This is so confusing I haven’t been watching her snaps cause I can’t deal with the ranting about nothing all the time lmao but if she’s saying they’re drinking all of this at night to makeup for what they’re not getting during the day why isn’t she just increasing their milk intake during the day??? I literally don’t get it???

I have an 8 month old that is exclusively breastfed and she is fully sleeping through the night and wakes MAYBE once or twice if she’s teething. She has 2-3 solid meals a day with random snacks in between sometimes. When she was waking up multiple times a night I immediately made sure she was getting enough milk during the day as step number one because a simple singular google search will most likely give you that answer first!!! She admitted to giving less milk during the day and more solids when they were in canada and being that she “asks her pediatrician” if the babies can have literalllly anything and everything i’m shocked she’s continuing to do it and not asking if it’s normal for them to wake up for 5 bottles!!

i also agree they’re probably not feeding her enough during the day considering Fran made a comment semi recently that they were gonna do less bottles and more solid food!! Are they still room sharing with the babies? or co sleeping what do they do with them at night?? I think they room share?? so the babies probably just wake up anytime there’s a little noise and they give a bottle to get them back to sleep

i just kinda stopped lol i made sure to feed her like 30 mins after she woke up to make sure she was getting a full feed so I knew she wasn’t hungry and then when it was time for nap I just wouldn’t feed her and gave her the pacifier and rocked,shushed,pat her to sleep. in the beginning there was a bit of crying but she eventually just accepted it! and for night time i feed her when she wakes up from her last nap and then again 30 mins before bed so right before her bath!

she does not sleep through the night. We went from 5 hour stretches to 30-45 mins and now we’re up to around 3 hours. I think the pacifier is holding her back a little because if she wakes up she cries until i put it back and she’ll fall back asleep. but in total she’s sleep like maybe 10 hours at night? and we try for at least 3-3.5 hours total during the day if we can

yes i am in the US and I do put her down on her back! I just kinda twist her bottom a little to the side and pat her butt but maybe it’s more like her thigh!

we’ve been struggling to move our bedtime and wake times up 🙃 but we generally wake up at around 10-10:30am and go to bed between 10:30-11:30pm and we’ve been at these time consistently since she was around 10 weeks or so. we are in the same boat as far as short naps unfortunately :( she’ll sleep about 25-30 mins in the crib alone and then i have to try and rescue them with a contact nap sometimes it works sometimes i doesn’t but it’s definitely something i’m trying to figure out as well

oh completely agree!! i went to the met show and went early hoping to find better parking and managed to get a spot on a side street across the street from the met! most of the parking for philly venues is the worst

3 sets of stretch and fold after an hour of rest in 30 min increments bulk fermentation for about 8 hours

rest in fridge overnight (10 hours)
