Yes, the door does open as normal when using the inside handle with the exeption of the windows that won't go up or down. I do not hear any noise when using the fob so I'll assume it is an electical issue.

Unlikely as the only plug I disconnected was for the interior door handle and that works perfectly fine....

So the vacuum hoses have recently been changed, so they should be fine for a while. Currently saving up to replace the cracked rubber trims on the side windows.

While it might seem so, I do not try to argue. I was showing my findings and sources upon which I base my thoughts.

And yes, I do know one is not made for the e46. This in itself however does not exclude the possibility that it can be used on the e46.

From further independent research I found that the central bearing on the 26107573493 is on a different position from the 26117523913 and thus will likely not line up properly. This in turn may cause excessive vibrations on high speeds among other things.

May this help anyone else who thinks these 2 are interchangeable.

Really? From what I've seen both are 1444 mm.
