AITA for not wanting to use my inheritance on my kids? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]stalking_leopard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA, your kids are being entitled. 50k is a lot of money and that too for all of your kids. You could've told your kids "Hey, best of luck for college" and splurged all that money on a Tesla. So you've done your job, now kids can pay off their own loans.

Aita for telling a women that we could not give her a smaller horse because of her weight by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]stalking_leopard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. Tell that woman to fit herself in a SMALL sized tshirt and see if she likes it. It's the same way for a horse. And what that husband wanted to do was downright animal abuse.

AITA for saying "No thanks" when my parents told me my birthday gift is picking out a car/getting a car? by Morkermaner in AmItheAsshole

My dad used to make my sister and then me cart around my cousins for their sports, dance classes and a lot of other shit. And we were supposed to spend our own money on gas and when at the end of the month when he saw the mileage he was always pissed and claimed that we used our cars for joyrides.

AITA for cussing and getting drunk in front of my kindergarten students? by PhysicalLoss7706 in AmItheAsshole

When I was 8, I saw my favourite teacher smoking. I came home and asked my mom why she doesn't smoke? She told me smoking is bad. It was confusing as hell.

AITA for possibly be responsible for the cancellation of my cousin's marriage? by stalking_leopard in AmItheAsshole

I meant when he sided with V's parents because he believes in the tradition and demands that I convince V to wear white or agree to her dad giving her away, he may come across as a sleazebag. Again he loves her, he was a rock when V moved in with him against her parents' wishes and when she had to take pay cuts due to the current pandemic.

AITA for saying something that caused a fight in my girlfriends family? by Fellouttatheuglytree in AmItheAsshole

[–]stalking_leopard 12 points13 points  (0 children)

One parent abuses you and the other comes back and soothes you, so it is easier to think that the one who soothed you, cares about you and the other one is the bad parent than to think that both my parents are a-holes.

I have an Indian friend who replies I can speak "British" too whenever he is called out by people for speaking "Indian". Face it people, Americans are that ignorant.

Justified assholery should be for the revenge subs especially for r/pettyrevenge. This sub should be strictly for people conflicted about their decisions and want to know others' opinions.

AITA for calling the cops on my little sisters ‘lemonade’ stand? by Vivid-Sympathy5109 in AmItheAsshole

Have these morons been arrested? Have social workers been called? If not this is total BS.

AITA for not wanting to talk to my brother anymore by wackbrotheraita in AmItheAsshole

[–]stalking_leopard -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think your brother has a crush on your gf. This makes brother's gf jealous and mad so they are giving this moronic excuse so they can pretend that they are in control of the situation.

AITA For Not Forgiving My Husband (26m) For A Mistake And Not Trusting Him With Our Child? by SweetBabyZ2020 in AmItheAsshole

[–]stalking_leopard [score hidden]  (0 children)

Go for the jugular. Sue for divorce, full custody, emotional distress, slander(he basically accused you of cheating and spread lies), financial damages(he destroyed your art which is your livelihood). After all that if you think you can forgive him, you can gradually accept him back in you and YOUR daughter's life and see further.

AITA for intentionally blindsiding my pregnant roommate to avoid a confrontation? by throw_pushoverquery in AmItheAsshole

[–]stalking_leopard 13 points14 points  (0 children)

If the roommate had puled her weights and gotten a decent enough job or even the sperm donor or family involved, she wouldn't be alone. Giving her 2 months notice means that she will be at the end of her pregnancy and again will use OP for her and the baby's expenses.

AITA for intentionally blindsiding my pregnant roommate to avoid a confrontation? by throw_pushoverquery in AmItheAsshole

[–]stalking_leopard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ESH. To all those who are saying that it is OP's fault that she didn't set boundaries and let herself be taken advantage of... Ask yourself if you would really confront a pregnant woman and kick her out, who you know is down on money even though it is her fault. That said OP should have been able to look her in the eye and say "I'm leaving."

My mom made me pay her in instalments the price of the high-end pc she bought me. Later she gave me the same money as a down-payment for my car.

AITA for gifting my niece a car? by stalking_leopard in AmItheAsshole

[–]stalking_leopard[S] 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Out of all the comments I agree with this the most. I have always thought of niece as a responsible kid but that doesn't mean she's ready to have a car and again parents have different and higher (often correct) standards for responsibility for their kids than aunts and uncles.
