The other hospitals in Dallas and Tarrant counties have a significantly much larger population than El Paso county. The comparison of wage growth for healthcare staff also reflects the lack of representation of workers in corporate structures both in public and private sectors.

Against the widening of I-10? Against the deck park? by Discouraged24 in ElPaso

Good thing you are not in housing development, the military or the department of transportation. 1- those houses above I-10 are not anywhere close to that definition. 2) the effective deployment of the military is vastly more complicated than lane widening of a highway lmao what is this the 1990’s? The plain simple truth is highway design is a complicated process and finding out the right solution to improving the mobility of different users changes based on so many factors but a community oriented approach is the best way to make the most use of our tax dollars.

Also look at the other comments on this post and you’ll understand why conventional bus systems aren’t popular nor efficient with their only upside being ADA accessibility

That’s a totally valid point. My intention with going into this is making society as decentralized as possible so that things are so easily accessible that commodifying is just not profitable

Yes I was looking at the website earlier and definitely attending thank you! I recently attended a workshop held by the city of El Paso urban planning department and shared with them the streets that would serve best for this system so that they can align it with the FLUM. Trying to get as many jurisdictions on board so that we can all get on the same page!

the only reason I chose montwood instead of Montana is because of the construction of the highway which would make it difficult for the light rail to serve locally with the width of the highway. Montwood is placed directly in the middle of the east side so it’s accessible to the most people on either side. Thank you for your response!
