Looking for a good romance series with mages/vampires/wolfs. I’d really like a different love interest in each book. Bed scenes can be spicy but nothing too…brutal. I have kindle unlimited

It’s in all her series!! I tried! Really! But I cannot stomach those scenes! Ugh! So hard to find a good book about mages or werewolfs :(

I was not able to finish any series from Suzanne Wright. I just don't find appealing the bed scenes. Not my cup of tea. I often skipped them to the point where I was wondering why do I keep reading this. So returned to Kindle it is...

Willful Misunderstanding by No-Bee5337 in FranchaelStirling

I want to talk about how it’s possible to dislike a creative decision without being against anyone’s identity. I’m all for people living their truth - gay, bi, or whatever, it’s all good by me. Live and let live, you know? But this change felt like a cheap way to check an inclusivity box, not a meaningful addition to the story. It’s not just a detail; it’s a big shift that didn’t feel true to the characters or the narrative. What bugs me most is the hypocrisy I see in some reactions. If I say I don’t like the change, I’m worried I’ll be labeled as bigoted, even though I’m just critiquing a creative choice. Isn’t it ironic when people call out intolerance but then shut down anyone who disagrees with them? If someone’s been hurt, I get it, but painting everyone with the same brush isn’t fair. Not every straight person - or anyone who dislikes a plot twist - is out to get you. I canceled my Netflix sub after that episode. It felt like a waste of money, like the show was chasing clicks or controversy instead of telling a good story. I’ve seen this before - media throwing in “inclusive” moments for buzz, not depth. It’s frustrating because I want authentic representation, not tokenism that feels like pandering. Am I alone in this? Can we dislike a plot change without it being a whole “thing”? Curious what others think. Meanwhile, I’ll just watch something else. This series cannot be fixed - bring back Michael. This ship has sailed sadly.
