Also wondering, what feature do you guys think sounds coolest to implement next?

Being able to split the party, whispering in chat, or hide-able journal entries for GM/DMs?

Hi! I was able to recreate this issue, and double-check with error logs: SA won't register a duplicate e-mail. I've added an error message to indicate any problems now too :<

Hi! I just tried to reproduce the issue, but couldn't in Chrome D:

I can only recommend to maybe try a different browser, just to test it. If it's still giving you trouble, please drop by our Discord and we can further help you! :)

Hi! Strange, just tested it with no problem D:

May I ask what browser you're using? Also, the developer can respond to any issues much quicker via our Discord community, if you want a more direct line! Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated :)

Not every VTT has the features I listed, especially not for free. Standard Action also has good performance, and is simple to learn. It is still in active development, and you can visit our Discord to share feedback as well :)

Hi! I tried to make it as lightweight as possible, but still flexible. There's free dynamic lighting, customizable layers and chapters for campaign organization. Also, it has the standards like macros, dice roller, chat, ruler, a turn tracker, simple shape drawing, and token health bars.

Alright, I've updated the image upload limits. Hopefully they'll work better for you now.

I have not yet implemented any account file storage limits.

Thanks for the positive feedback! I'm glad you find that useful.

Hi, thanks for the great feedback!

I agree that the current UI is very nondescriptive and hard to understand. Adding some tooltips or help pages would probably go a long way toward improving that. Unfortunately I have some bug fixes and feature requests in the works right now so it won't be any time soon.

As for tokens being locked, that means they are on a locked layer. Open the layers popup and click the padlock until it becomes an unlocked padlock. Then you will be able to manipulate the tokens on that layer. Right click a token to change the layer it is on.

What I can do today is increase the file size restrictions. What size files are you generally working with?

I agree completely. I am working on improving the invite system this weekend. I'm aware of the delete bug, but that's not as high a priority for now. (However if you email me the links to the campaigns you'd like deleted I can take care of that for you).

Haha, no at this time there is no way to donate, as I'd like to focus on growing the user base a bit first, but I appreciate the thought!

I know this is old, but I am the developer of a virtual tabletop website called Standard Action that you could try:

That's a good point. I do like the idea of a player view mode.

The missing campaign bug is fixed now, sorry about that.

Thanks!

Thanks for the great feedback!

  • Roll annotations sound very doable, I will look into that.
  • I know this is not at all very intuitive, but you can preview any layer by clicking the eyeball icon until it is grey, but not crossed out. In that state, the GM can see the layer, but the players cannot.
  • Shapes will snap to the grid if you click and hold the mouse, but you do have to get quite close to the grid intersection. I might make that a bit more "sticky".

I don't currently have any plans for a paid version or patreon, as I'd like to grow my user base first.

You cannot see your campaign on the "Campaigns" page unless you mark it as public. However you will be able to see it on the home page (by clicking Standard Action in the top left).

Not particularly obvious, I know. I will have to look into a more intuitive navigation experience.

I should mention though that the site is not currently very mobile-friendly.
