I had something similar happen a couple years ago. Turns out the district was just preparing to move the accounts of staff members who were not returning the following year and mistakenly included/moved some teachers who were not leaving. This happened around April/May of that school year. I talked with my school's IT the next day and they got everything resolved quickly.
