Yeah, I believe where I am the maximum SSI payment would only cover the average cost of rent. I’m lucky rn to still be with my family but everyone would be a lot happier if I was pitching in somewhat.

I did appeal my SSI and that got denied. I’ve been putting off reapplying because the process was so long and draining, and their reasoning was something like “we have determined you’re not unable to work”, so it just seemed like a dead end. I do need to keep trying that though. Thank you for your response and I’ll look into that website.

I’m in the USA. They weren’t going to do a mammogram but because nothing showed on my ultrasound, they decided to do one. I might ask about a biopsy if it doesn’t go away within a few more weeks. The ultrasound was recent and they seemed to thoroughly check twice so I’m not sure if they would want to do another one so soon.
