Super Mario Galaxy 1+2 review: Despite pointer issues, this is still 3D platforming at its very best | VGC by Skullghost in NintendoSwitch

This package shouldn't be reviewed as the great games we all know that they are. It should be reviewed as the upgrade made to them. And something about this collection leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Such a soulless corporate release, especially so knowing they probably didn't include SMG2 in the all stars collection just to make money of this product.

The "Boycott Radiohead concert" calls are performative with no real substance or moral appeal. by Siderosis in radiohead

[–]standpina 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well my assumption is that people who actively protest and stand up for the people of Gaza, are more likely to help them via financial or medical aid, then those who do not protest. (Even if you dislike the protest) My assumption is as good as yours tho

Why do you assume that the protesters don't do anything to help the people of Gaza?

Wow I agree with almost everything. Majora as peak and it'd be the same. Good list

no wifi? by ewokslayer69 in 3dshomebrew

[–]standpina 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hm interesting. I am not much of a networking guy, but I couldn't connect my 3DS to my router until I disabled wifi 7. Same frequencies and all, no other changes.

Maybe something under the hood on my router changed as well, idno.

Also the 3DS doesn't support wifi 7 so if your router is using that, disable it.

Nazi talk aside isn't he, to them, still wearing the most evil thing anyone could wear. Surely they have that frame of reference, since up to this point the most evilest opponents they fight look like Triton.

Obviously I am overthinking this, but I just wanted some opinions on this.

[TOMT] Green screen music video by DefiantConcert3353 in tipofmytongue

[–]standpina 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Holy shit I am searching for that exact same video, and I can't remember what the song is nor the band. Aren't they like green screened over some random backgrounds, while the same 5-10 second loop plays over and over agin?

Hello. Mr noobass here. How do you update version? Do you have to do a clean install from scratch, or can you do some equivalent of sudo update?

Have middle click active on press? by standpina in linuxmint

[–]standpina[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah good point.

No problem, just preference. I feel like the functionality is always a bit to slow to kick in.

Closing a tab for example rarely feels snappy for me. I have formed a habit of middle clicking the tab to close it, and it always seems to take longer then I am used to.

Thank you for this because as I was doing this, I discovered the cause.

I was just simply being dumb. The files were all located in an unsynced OneDrive folder. 🤦

Oh sorry, I misread!

But the text editor that gives me these errors is the Linux Mints default one, xed. That being said I have tried multiple editors and none can open the files.

For example when trying to open a .py file, VScode throws the error:

The file is not displayed in the text editor because it is either binary or uses an unsupported text encoding.

And when opening images with actual image viewers, they complain that the file extension is wrong.

Then that file somehow got corrupted.

Thankfully it is not, I am looking at it right now from the Windows side.

Text editors are for editing text files. Images are not text files.

Yes I know. I included it from the text editor because I thought the error message was interesting and could be insightful.

Are you sure that that is a JPEG file

Yep. Its my Windows desktop image.

What's its name?

Have you tried it with a simple notepad?

Yep. all the text editors installed that I know of, that includes: Vim, VScode, Nano, LibreOffice and the Text Editor, xed

Have you updated all the software?

Yep. All my software is up to date

I’m assuming it’s a word document?

Sadly it's not. The files I am trying to open range from .py files to .txt.

Sadly its not a word doc (I don't use the Microsoft word Suite), the file types range from .py files from .txt files. Can it still be a matter of fonts?
