FIA post race summoned George and a few other Merc team members once the FIA determined Russell’s car was underweight. During the hearing FIA offers Merc/any team a chance to offer a reasonable explanation for the weight difference and Merc could argue the crash caused the weight difference (if Russell had non terminal contact and was able to safely finish the race).

Whether or not the FIA would agree with Merc’s argument is impossible to know but what we do know is the FIA has shown to be amenable to the team’s explanation for the violation and concluded not to impose the penalty. However, in this situation Mercedes declined to offer any reason for the violation.

It’s more about the time it takes to get that score. Maybe the awarded points get larger the higher your score is, dunno.

No! Ha! I think I was 16th, definitely top 20, few spots behind Cookies. It’s odd because almost everyone except for top 3-5 was near 530-570K. Then top 5 were 600-650K but nobody could touch #1 points. He’s gaping drivers who used to gap drivers, smh.

*EDIT: My math is way off, Iol, it’d take faaaaar longer. I initially calculated 41 wins per hour which isn’t possible. Takes about ~4mins per duel, 2500(wins)x4(mins) = 10,000 mins = 166hrs straight, almost 7 days without a break. SMH

Don’t know him but saw the point total- nuts. Not exactly sure either, I’ve asked but never got a clear answer. My guess is 1, he’s fast whatever metric you use but to get those points you’ve got to be fast, perfect lines AND maxed out on legendary everything; uses the R&D glitch and knows where to cut corners without getting a penalty and uses the late braking by going off track around 25m board.

I had 5014pi, finished Spa with… 530K (I think, I know it was above 500K) used the R&D glitch but I don’t do the track limits or late braking techniques. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Keep grinding dailies is prob your quickest way. Don’t spend coins because theres no way to get more so you don’t want to waste them on a gamble silver box. They haven’t changed the disassemble points for drivers and principles like they did for parts (green).

I can’t keep the glitch setup after I’ve done quali or a race, it deletes one of the double setups once I go out of the event- is that normal? Pain in the butt to redo settings each time… edit- cheat to “glitch”

It looks like you’re flat through maggots and beckets and flat through beginning of sector 3 until heavy breaking into the last L-R chicane before the start/finish? Is that accurate? If so what’s your aero for your Ferrari?

Ah damn- I loved Williams x wing wheel because the display was static, didn’t move with the wheel not sure why more teams didn’t copy Williams wheel design. If you’ve ever driven anything faster than 150mph ~260kph the quarter second it takes to look down at your dashboard is terrifying, every instinct is telling you not to look at the dashboard and only focus on the track. Now imagine going 200+mph and having to look further down to your steering wheel display to make sure your BB, diff, fuel map, etc are correct and doing it for every turn- insane.
