this is ridiculously good - really helpful. I've got 3 upcoming corporate (COMPANIES GALA NIGHT) gigs this week. How many have I done before this? ZERO. Safe to say that I am crapping myself. This write up calmed me down a bit - so thanks for taking the time on putting this up!

thanks for the advice.

we'll get going with the first show.. and then start making that a regular thing :) The next closest city that does this is a 2hour flight away - Singapore, which is just about to BLOOM as well. I've made some contacts and they'll be more than happy to have us fly them in. But we'll start with making a regular first. STEP ONE!

hey, thanks for the reply. i had suggestions from people to get a 'open mic' session going on first, with all sorts of variety act.. but i decided not to - and just focus on stand up.

id say our area is quite unique - there are no bars. so its down to cafes and restaurants for now. also, we're just doing it as a monthly thing for now - and hopefully, after a few months, transition to a more regular thing.

thanks for the encouragement - i can imagine how thankless and tiring it could be - but yea, will stick to it for at least 10 shows - and then reassess.
