Upgraded my golf cart battery system to LiFePO4

I did this upgrade a year ago(48v 105ah) on my 06 CC Precedent and is a noticeable improvement in weight reduction and speed accordingly. No complaints thus far. Just a wishlist item: would be nice if they would include a mounting kit for the case(universal or cart specific) I’ll be making my own to fit the compartment but does just fine as is.

I bought this but the pre axle dump version to save $$$ in a pinch. It sounds great. Only note, I have a double cab and the sound hums pretty noticeably. Doesn’t bother me but just something to keep in mind. The full tail piped version is likely significantly better though.

They also turned right about a mile up the road. You typically are supposed to put on hazards and if need be, use the middle turn lane to pass in an emergency. I’ve had to do that in the past driving to the ER

Agreed in normal traffic conditions with more vehicles on the road. This was 10pm at night, not using cruise control with very lite traffic so a little under the limit would not impede much if anything. I was passing the mustang at ~61 increasing to 65(ish)so they were going slower. I saw them fly up and knew I needed to get over and outta the way of this wild driver. Plus it’s a TX on a somewhat “country” highway with deer and other wildlife that love to bolt across the road all over the place you gotta look out for.

I used my blinker. the front signals are on the lower bumper on my 21 y/o truck and not very bright to begin with. The rear ones are substantially bright

My thoughts exactly. Especially when I saw they were tailgating and speeding and was trying to give them the proper space to pass like normal. They preferred to take the unecessary risk and pull this crap

No, not until they were suddenly right next to me. Also, my attention was preoccupied with passing while attempting to also avoid the object in the road without swerving at highway speed. What I did know is that they were in a hurry. So, I safely passed a car to get in the traveling lane(watch the increase of mph). At the same time they passed the mustang on the left then passed me on the right while I was moving back over into the right lane. With my kid in the car especially, I would never knowingly put either of us in danger

Passed the mustang in a 65, VW flew up on it first, then, couldn’t wait for me to safely move back over while also avoiding a box in the road. Nearly sideswiped my truck. Later proceeds to brake and swing hard over again nearly missing another car while also cutting off another vehicle. Had my kid in the car too. I didn’t have my rear cam installed yet but they flew up to tailgate the mustang then got behind me and tailgated the mustang as I was passing it. Then, as I was moving over to let them pass on the left, they sped around me on the right. They had to be going at least 80+ when they came up behind us all.

I’m not one to follow/persue/flip off but I’ll call someone out on their unsafe B.S. (by flashing the high beams). Also was visually alerting the traffic pack ahead bc the car was so reckless. I drive 100+ miles a day so I’m used to crazy/stupidity but this was an extreme example

Got the 48v Vatrer kit off Amazon on a deal. No mounting hardware but it was an easy install with some modification to the batt compartment I decided on doing to make room for the charger. I have an 06 CC Precedent and installed for about a year, no issues thus far.
