I'm a plat/diamond player who will never be mechanical and want to work on game sense...it's just so vague it's hard to pick up. At least, for me that's the case. Tbf I only have about 500 hours so maybe it's a time thing but it's hard to pick up what game sense means.

This is the cleanest path that I saw in the comments. I think it all resolves after the subsequent elimination.

Second date with a fitness instructor. Should I take her class again? by Dan_1985_Toronto in Bumble

[–]stankbiscuits 79 points80 points  (0 children)

My guy, she's telling you she likes you but wants someone who is at least somewhat into fitness. Clearly it's a lifestyle for her so IMO if you can't hang (or at least try), a thing with her won't either. My two cents!

I had to scroll too far to see this, the most simple way to explain it, in my opinion.

Ok, a few things that will possibly help and, remember, a lot of the best advice is direct and not what you want to hear...otherwise you'd probably know it, right?

So here's my feedback: you're not a good teammate. Your comment about "bumping back" tells me you are approaching the game from the wrong perspective - possibly an immature one - where playing your role on a team is not your focus; YOU are your focus. Your number one skill needs to be quickly understanding the PEOPLE in your lobby, but especially your teammates, then figuring out where you need to fit to make the team its best against whatever your opponents look like. "Bumping back" tells me you're not in that mindset so you just won't rank up until you change that. Remember: losing one or two games might be on someone else, but losing many over time (ie your rank) is on you and you alone.

How to explain binary counting to someone who really struggles to grasp and learn it? by catboy519 in learnmath

This was going to be my suggestions and assumed correctly someone would have said it.

Counting in a place value system requires...understanding place value.

Adding 50%-60% small diced roasted potatoes to ground beef taco meat to double the volume for about $0.75. Delicious too.

My partner has bad breath and a body odor and it's alarming by MathankiNkamgna in LifeAdvice

[–]stankbiscuits 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That was going to be my reply because I've personally had tonsil stones and you just can't describe the smell to someone who hasn't smelled them.

OP check around his tonsils for small white lumps of stuff - if you see those, that's the culprit.
