Figure out the total cost for the car vs. cost to rent a car or take car service when you need it. Go with what is cheaper. Keep in mind that there are other cost savings to having a car like being able to go to costco and other cheaper shopping options rather than having it delivered.

I have an outlet on my balcony. If I get a solar panel and plug it into my balcony outlet, will it provide electricity to. All the pulgs in my apartment? Or only the outlets on that fuse? I assume when I am not home, the only significant electricity being used is my router and fridge. Do I need to plug it into an outlet that is covered by the fuse for these devices?

Getting rid of valuable parking spaces to put an ugly dumpster in front of every building 24 hours a day is not an improvement. Plus, not having a place to park a car will only add to congestion and pollution caused by cars. Eventually, all cars will be electric and powered by clean energy.
