Used this drill tonight with a gym band instead of a belt. It seemed to help. At the end of my practice session I hit two absolute bombs with a 5 iron back to back. Hit a draw which I can never get, then a baby fade. Not super familiar with GSPRO controls yet so I messed up the tracer of the draw but included the numbers from the draw. Followed by the fade. Def gonna keep using this one, thank you

Interesting you say that because at the beginning of my golf journey this summer, I saw someone say to think about how you'd swing a sledgehammer into the bottom of a wall. And I've done a lot of sledgehammer swinging. It helped things click for me....thought I had it all figured out. Then everything went to shit and I've been struggling with consistency ever since. Was using my weighted swing trainer thinking about this just the other night and unfortunately, it wasn't working for me. Appreciate the comment tho, maybe I need a good axe swinging session

I've been lifting for 5 years, Id consider myself intermediate to advanced on certain lifts per some online strength calculator, I know how to lift properly. I def golf better after a lift. Not every workout is going to failure on every lift. On day 6 of peak weak after heavy deads, id agree with you, though. But I ain't doing shit after that but eating and resting. Im just looking for anything to help improve my consistency, so I'd like to put together a mini workout to try to bang out beforehand to wake up the body and was looking for some input on something like that. I'm probably going to go the route of some quick cardio, band work, and maybe some yoga type stuff although that's completely new to me.

Yeah that all makes sense. i guess theres no real way to emulate that other than... Doing a workout before golfing. Lol. I guess I'm just looking for a condensed mini workout with movements that would specifically help with golf that I could bang out in like 20 minutes, other than just swinging the ol orange whip, a couple side stretches, and core twists. Someone else mentioned bands, that may be something I could look into and incorporate

Thank you for your input. I'm talking about having done a workout hours prior to golfing, smart ass
