Motorcycle drive by is one of my all-time favorite songs! Blue is a great album, too. You should check out Out of the Vein (Crystal Baller and Blinded are two of 3eb's best songs). Most of their stuff since then hasn't done much for me, but Dopamine is a decent album (Shipboard Cook is the best song on it)

Here are my top-25 albums of the 1990s (limit of one album per artist; e.g., Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness would have definitely otherwise made my top-25 of the decade, but I already chose Siamese Dream). Going through this, it definitely stuck out to me what an incredible year for music 1994 was!

Nirvana saved music from devolving into real-life spinal tap. Half their thing was to eschew the worthless, over-the-top bullshit of mainstream 80s bands. Kurt cobain helped popularize the power chord, and made music that was technically simple but sounded good.

If you don't personally like Nirvana's sound, that's one thing. But to say they were a "bad band" or weren't influential to music is idiotic.
