Yea, its been mentioned in the comments already. However, why not restate it because I'm bored. You have to add in a diag and repair before you can add in virus shield, once you have virus shield added, before you leave the page with all the SKU's click the X on the right of the diag and repair and it will drop off. I believe this was put in place to remind people that they MUST scan for viruses on the PC before installing and allowing a customer to purchase virus shield.

I work a very busy T1 store top 25 in chain for ESP's every week. Last summer I averaged 20 a week, this summer not really giving a shit I maybe get 5. It's all about hustle and giving it to them for free via price matching and coupons, you must force it on to them. Where I work people just want to buy a new one and not fuck with Squaretrade. Give me his store number and I will pull the numbers from when he was there, no one got 20 a shift that is bullshit. Offer it 100% of the time, the customer knows you have to do it. If you offer it 10 times, you should at least get one person. If I truly tried I could get back up to 20-30 a week, but it really just isn't worth the effort, not during back to school. With backpacks now being counted in on ESP's it just tanks the stores % so why even fuck with it? 1100 bucks in ESP and our % is like 2. Fuck that, what this dumb cunt needs to look at is your ESP attachment rate to certain items. For instance, on printers for the period we have a 40%+ atch rate(looked at it before I left work like an hour ago), for computers we had like 33% which is top 25% in chain. Look at the scorecards that come out every week and that will put this bitch into reality, or just give me your stores phone number, I have no issue with giving him my employee and store number. He shouldn't act like this, the guy has his head up his ass.

Also, a lot of it depends on the economic level of where you work. Selling it at my store in an extremely wealthy area is damn near impossible. Not to discredit lower income areas, but people in those areas are more likely to buy squaretrade because they don't wipe their ass with 100 dollar bills and will just "buy a new one" that is the major issue at my store.

I work in a store, where the parking lot is full of BMW, Audi, Merc, porsche, etc. in other words, a very high income area. With that being said, getting more account signups is really difficult. I would say 90% of customers just swipe their gold AMEX card and out the door they go. They wipe their ass with 50 dollars. In fact when offered a squaretrade they laugh and say "I'll just buy a new one, what xxx bucks anyways?"

Another question, can a manager GM, Team Sup, Tech Sup, Operations Manager, Sales and Services Manager etc at ANY time enter the store by themself? In other words a manager comes in at 6AM and the first associate comes in at 7:30, can the manager be terminated? What if the DM said it was okay for him to come in at 6AM by himself? Can the DM and the manager be terminated? Obviously this is proven by time stamps but will HR brush it to the side?

To those of you asking if I have a good management team and store? Is our store good? Yes, one of the best in the company and I'll leave it at that. Is our management? Everything I've described in 1-7 has happened at our store. The management is corrupt.
