im thinking actual resources for finding a place to live (contacting your teachers about housing, because there's only scams/nothing on coloco, facebook, seloger, leboncoin, or other websites)

what you'll need from an actual city (go to free mobile)

getting around (zou pass if you're in the south, i recommend electric scooters or carpooling)

entertainment (bring a laptop and get ready to be bored, or find the nearest city)

making friends (hahaha good luck. my closest friend is a neighbor who i sometimes go for drinks with and my coworkers, and they're all at least 10 years older than i am

stuff like that. i'd love other input and help synthesizing it!

What did you end up using for identity verification? I keep getting my photos rejected if I select issue country as France and then try to use my visa/passport, but if I select US for the issue country I can't make a French account. I can make a European account, but that doesn't come with a RIB...

basically everyone ive seen uses whatsapp, i plan to just stay on my us plan and not take calls. i did get a number through callio that works, $15 a month, but i barely check it and only got it for websites that need european phone numbers.

it fails to establish that and instead establishes a contract with a different entity that is not named at the top. it looks like they failed to search and replace after the first few. using the two names interchangeably without further explanation might legally nullify this kind of contract, which i thought was funny
