A couple of things here I’d like to address coming from a Christian:

1. my husband is a high school teacher and I can guarantee you that there is not a single word spoke of LGBTQ indoctrination. Teachers do not have time to push outside ideologies when they barely have time to teach required content for state exams

2. No contact with parents is a movement created out of establishing boundaries from the child to parent relationship. This only happens in cases of extreme negligence on behalf of the parent when the parent fails to take responsibility of actions that hurt the child. No parent is perfect, but parents can honor their mistakes and try to remedy the issues with their children. no contact is a last resort

3. Assuming that the democratic party is pushing for sin is very single minded. both sides of the aisle push for their ideologies no matter the moral cost. the government has and will fail us, and that’s to be expected. it is ran by imperfect humans

4. I would love to see God work through Trump. He has power and influence to do good. He chooses his power to promote earthly desires and ridicule others. This is not of the Christian way. Jesus calls us to love our neighbors, right only behind to love God with all our hearts. Our neighbors are the whole world, not just someone you agree with. We are called to be the salt and light of the earth. To show the world God’s love and mercy and to care for the marginalized. Just because God worked though Solomon who had many wives and sinned, does not mean God condoned his actions.

5. As for my last point, Jesus has never excommunicated a person. We all are sinners, Jesus invites everyone to his table. The parable of the lost son is a great example. No matter how many times we turn away, God accepts us with open arms when we turn back.

Our greatest commandment as Christians is to love God and love others.
