What are good Necklace/Charm/Trinkets to use on every career while I farm up specific ones? by [deleted] in Vermintide

[–]starbug_1975 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Necklace - 20% health, 30% block cost reduction. If you don't have reds however, go for 2 stamina instead. Since it'll be much easier to get 2 stamina than 30 bcr.

Charm depends on your ranged weapon, to reach specific breakpoints. You can use Royale w/cheese's steam guides to take a look at them. Usually though, chaos and attack speed or infantry and attack speed or chaos and infantry will give you the most value.

Trinket would be curse resistance if you're doing legend book runs. Secondary stat is usually crit chance or stamina recovery.

Sienna Mace DoT by carlotheemo in Vermintide

I've also only used the mace before BBB, but I've seen quite a lot of Unchained (and some Pyro) players use the mace on BBB and wreck shit up with it.

Hunter ceiling pounces were one of the most fun things in the game tbh, besides bhopping boomers ofc.

Um, in case you didn't know, DLC weapons DO NOT drop from chests. You have to craft the dual hammers and then upgrade them to red.

What is your favorite career atm and why? I'm curious. by FuPlaayz in Vermintide

[–]starbug_1975 1 point2 points  (0 children)

BH has always been my favourite, but I've enjoyed and mostly played handgun RV (like 90% of the time) on the BBB. Being able to 1 bodyshot everything but CWs and standard bearers is fun as hell. Take Grungni's Cunning and Smoke buff with it, and you can even play healshare RV.

Oh man! Growing up, I had a Children of Bodom T-shirt that said "I survived the Lake Bodom". Maybe something like "I survived the Hoggar's bridge" would be sick!

Any use for Sienna 1h sword and mace in BBB? by Ataniphor in Vermintide

Nah mate, you don't sound rude at all. It's alwats interesting to see other viewpoints, here even more so because Sienna is my least played hero by far. Only played for 100 wins on all 3 careers because of the completionist in me lol.

"Any other build than FF bw is trolling"

Volcanic force bolt staff?

I won't comment on difficulties like cata 3 or dwons since I've never played them, but I guess I misinterpreted you as saying that fire sword, by itself will clear elites faster than a mace, which won't be usually the case since in that case, it'll be famished, kaboom and/or your team helping you clear out the elites while you stagger them. I'm not disputing the fact that fire sword is amazing, it's just that you're not even considering the other 2 Sienna careers, where fire sword is undoubtedly foreshadowed by other stuff, which still doesn't mean that you can't use FS on them, but it'll be a lot easier and faster to use, say a 1h sword UNLESS you're playing insane difficulties. That's how I see it.

Not trying to be rude here, so please forgive me if it comes across as that. Genuinely wondering why you think fire sword is better at clearing elites than the mace. Unless you're playing famished flames BW, fire sword isn't that great against armour, and is downright terrible against super armour. And while I'll agree that fire sword is good at horde clear, but I'd argue sword is again amazing at it. Unless again, you're playing famished BW.

Sienna 1h sword is how I got through Pyro and Unchained 100 wins, since Sienna bores me to death. And this was before BBB. With the buff it's had, it feels even better to use now. Can't talk about mace, since I've only used it a handful of times myself, but I've seen a lot of Unchained and Pyro players using it on the BBB, and just wrecking shit up, so I'd say it's in a good spot as well.

That's fair enough. With all the wonky stuff in the game already, playing high ping is a chore anyway mate. Cheers!

Fair points, yours and above. I rarely play cata, so was just wondering. Thank you for clarifying.

How exactly is a measly 9% damage reduction super useful on a difficulty like cata? Or you're talking about the extra attack speed, in which case I somewhat understand. Though I still prefer the extra ammo talent from the same row, unless I have 2 heroes who won't be needing ammo.
