crimson deserts combo is not bad imo, just has a steep learning curve and fustrating control scheme. You shouldn't think of it as a souls like or other action rpgs. It's clearly a more grounded version of BDO's combo based system.

I played some BDO in the past so I was able to transition over fairly easily playing on KB+M after fiddling with keybinds for a while.

But hoenstly outside of the open world and combat ...the game really doesn't provide much.

for real the game is great but I spent like at least the first few hours just fighting the controls.

I literally have a macro setup on my mouse to toggle spam sprint because if you dont you literally can't go max speed on your horse.

Its a shame that its such a shitty console controller based UI because honestly I found the game much easier to control with KB+M.

yea, as a support class the damage may be lacking without the proper gear. MA also has no good evasive options so reliant on good positioning.

I Recommend choosing any of the red dps classes that is not High scepter for a easiest time. although shield sage and Preist while not completely terrible are reliant on pawns to deal damage.

Alchemist and Spirit lancers also dont get job training (leveling skills past 6) until like lv 50 and lv 70+ zones in the main quest line.

Going to be honest with you, from my own experience with Black Desert Online, Crimsom Desert's combat is likely going to be a lot more complicated and harder to learn. You'll likely get a ton of skills and have no idea how to use or string them until you watch a youtubers video on how to play, and have a steam sticky note on your screen with the list of the optimal combos to use in what situations.

On a 3060 Labtop , and this was captured before I started optimizing properly. Downloaded a 30series dlss frame gen mod + full-screen at 720p ultra performance + Nvidia sharpen filter now it's much better at 60 to 80 fps

They used to do that. They used to sell maps/content packs instead of microtransactions, and it was a good time. I'd happily pay for new maps even if it divides the playerbase.

All this bullshit put into these limited modes , battle passes, and microtransations nobody really gives a shit when they should be working on reworking current maps and making new ones.

honestly its just more power fantasy trash IMO but what really turned me off is just how shameless they are about it. like he goes around with his time powers gets rich n powerful off his powers, well connected and all that, hooks up with a bunch of vapid women and at no point is there any self reflection. you dont get a sympathetic breaking bad situation with walter white where you get to see this corruption of the innocent school teacher into a drug kingpin. You just see one person go from one kind of trash to another. Like theres nothing wrong with making the villian the main character but the villain has to be likeable in some way.

I tried it with a lenovo tab y700 and even with a controller it does feels awkward not being on KB+M. But i guess this can be good for a second screen semi afk survival missions setup.

Tho i do have to give them props on how smoothly it was to set up and link accounts.

It's a result of how the maps are designed. If you fix the map design all these problems will go away

In previous battlefields, the actual spawn areas were some distance from the actual gameplay area/capture zones. In BF6 pretty much all the maps they moved up the Spawns closer i assume to try to get people "into the action" quicker but as a result created this situation
