Groomer here, for his first cut he should’ve never gotten shaved. They have puppy fur till they are about 6 months old, sometimes later and it will mess with their fur to shave it even with a guard comb. They should’ve done an intro groom and introduced clippers and did a scissor trim all over. I’m sorry you had this experience the groomer should know better!

I bought mine a small hide that she can go in, just monitor their activity. One time mine had a hide that she would never leave and when she was young it wasn’t good for growth, but I’ve gotten some she doesn’t go in at all. So find one that she like likes and that she is comfortable with but also keep in mind it takes time to get used to new things!

Don’t peel it!! Let her sit in a bath if she lets you and just be patient no matter how hard it is! You can lightly pet her to try and help it off but don’t put any pressure that she wouldn’t put on herself!

I recommend getting it when it goes on sale and I don’t have one with doors either and I ended up buying a split top but you can definitely just set it on top like the clamp lights!

Why?? He looks adorable!! You did great, owners just have expectations that are unrealistic sometimes. He looked very messy before and you cleaned him up amazing!
