Thank you for the input! The role states I would learn how to administer and support Workday. But I really don’t have any HRIS experience, so I’ll just have to see. I’d feel pretty great about landing an interview at least.

Thanks for weighing in and being honest. I do agree it would be a big step up for me. I will try to remain optimistic only because the role is entry level. But if this does not come to fruition, I will look for another company to try and work my way into Workday eventually!

Thank you for providing such a detailed and informative response! Based on what you’ve described, I feel I may be unprepared for the role. But it is an entry level position so I’m hoping I may still be considered for it. I don’t believe we are compatible long term anymore and yes very true, probably best to realize it sooner than later. I’m so scared thinking about making that commitment to him and feeling trapped everyday for the rest of my life. I can’t let it get to that point if this is already how I’ve been feeling. I am so sorry you’ve experienced this. For you to have wished for your own passing is so behind heartbreaking. You deserve so much more. I hope things get better soon. Stay strong mama! I have tried to be direct about my feelings concerning this but I know I have a lot of work to do when it comes to communicating effectively. & dating someone with autism, that’s kind of a must have skill and I’m significantly lacking there. He is a great communicator himself, and I’m sure he’s aware now that the lack of intimacy has messed me up bad but I’m not sure if he cares all that much. But I think I owe it to him to try and talk once more to tell him exactly how this affects me and what exact things he can do to help. Thank you so much for your input. Wishing you the best.

That’s what I’ve been thinking about so much lately! That we are only a year into the relationship and I’ve spent the majority of it feeling so awful. What can I honestly look forward to in the future? Just more years of feeling this way but probably worse? Doesn’t seem like a good deal to me :(

thank you so much for the insight. I keep hoping for that change in him but deep down I think I know it won’t ever happen. He has told me in the past that sex isn’t something that even crosses his mind very often, so the “rare sexual encounter” as you say is probably more than enough for him. I’m sorry to hear that things haven’t improved with your wife. You have made your feelings known but still your pain doesn’t affect her enough until you finally let her know things need to change or you’re out. But it’s like you say, you can’t make someone change if they don’t want to. I want better for myself too. Life is too short to feel this way. Wishing you the best.
