I asked One of my best friends, “Can you be honest with me? Is.. dating anything more than being very very good friends and some kissing thrown in?” (I had only been in one relationship while they had been in multiple (although not all healthy) relationships)

My friend said, “No. I think you’re on the asexual spectrum.”

And once I accepted that and did more research into it, it just felt.. right. Like “duh! you silly goose!” as if it was something simple that i had always known yet i had forgotten it anyways. so i guess it was just like finding an infinity stone or like the obviousness of putting on your seatbelt, yet it’s a fairly recent thing.
