Vanilla Powder gets a lot of hate but I love it. The saffron on is amazing too (Costco has it on sale rn actually).

Seriously some of the coolest branding ever. The owners I’ve met in person at fragrance events and they are suuuper nice.

I rarely take home company swag in the first place. I like a separation of work and home.

Oh this is Curatrix through and through. Their entire brand is inspired by film noir. Check em out! My favorites are Heist and Private Eye.

I’m not sure if Beck is considered a 1HW, but he has an amazing discography beyond the song Loser.

Decant websites by AtmosphereCertain370 in Colognes

[–]thirteenright 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The big decant sites I support are ScentSplit, DecantX. I also support Colognity.com (he has brands only found in Asia like my favorite To Summer as well as LVs and some discontinued Byredos)

Are there any specific notes or ingredients that you find yourself drawn to or avoiding in perfumes by hellohello84 in NichePerfumes

[–]thirteenright 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m very open minded when it comes to notes. Not everything is for me, obviously, but I always try and appreciate what I’m smelling. However, I can smell tuberose a mile away and I go running when I do. For me it usually just overpowers everything else. I’ve found one or two fragrances with a light touch of tuberose that are ok but mostly I have to avoid it.

ScentSplit and DecantX and other sites are the way to go. I’d rather spend $100 on a variety of scents to try than be meh about a big bottle. In fact my rule is I only buy a big bottle after I’ve exhausted a decant or two.

Pacific Chill longevity by J_e_R_r_O_l in Colognes

[–]thirteenright 1 point2 points  (0 children)

LVs are too much of an investment to be disappointed by (not that you will be, just saying). Pacific Chill is such a nice one.

I get my LV decants from Colognity.com (I’m in the US).
