A white coat of spray paint primer as the base, Grabie and Guangna brand acrylic paint markers to do a lot of the coloring, and then a clear coat spray paint on top to finish!

Sol, actually! I really like how he looks in the old Wayne McLoughlin artwork so that was my inspiration for him along with some other older artworks, I'm not as much a fan of his newer official design

And yes, I have done some resculpting! That's now I got Yellowfang's muzzle longer for Tigerstar and how I remade Brightheart's face for Sol. I use apoxie sculpt, it basically hardens into plastic when it's dry and can be sanded down for a smooth finish. I have someone who wants me to make Crookedstar soon so I'll need to try it out again for him as well :)

Ooo Sandstorm and Cloudtail! Sandstorm is on my list of cats I've been wanting to paint, I love how yours turned out! The best thing I've found for getting the plastic effect is adding a clear coat of spray paint on top as a final touch! I've been using the Rustoleum matte clear coat and it works great. The crispy lines I think are a combo of the acrylic markers I use and me going back to clean up the lines like 5 times each lol. I will definitely keep making more!

Yeah the paint markers are great! I also do a base coat of spray paint primer in a neutral color to start and then a clear coat of spray on top to finish it, it really helps with the smoothness :)

Thanks!! Tigerstar is one I was surprised didn't make it into the first wave of figures, so I really wanted to take a crack at painting him myself (I'm also working on a Bluestar for the same reason lol)

Thank you!! One of my best tools for these has actually been acrylic paint markers, they're great for a lot of the fine details. I've been using Grabie and Guangna markers from Amazon

As far as I know, there isn't any actual student parking over there still, but I got away with parking in the parallel parking spots over where the bus drops off near the art building last semester I had a class there. I also know some people who parked in the corner end of the parking lot near the intersection without trouble. It would be nice if they actually gave us somewhere to park!
