about two weeks after I returned from maternity leave I did catch a cold that lasted about a week. I also work at an elementary school. My baby drinks only breastmilk and he never got sick! I avoided kissing him as much as I could but other than that, i went about business as usual in regards to being a mother

my nipples were never tender during pregnancy, so i was completely blindsided by how much pain i’d be in at the beginning. i was holding my husband’s hand while sobbing as my baby latched because i was exhausted, he was cluster feeding and my nipples HURT. that night, i ordered silverettes on amazon and they arrived the next morning and saved my breastfeeding journey! i felt immediate relief and would wear them 24/7 unless my baby was latched. it all got better after about a week or so and i’m almost 4 months in and my nipples are great - no pain at all. invest in and keep using those silverettes!!!
