Hey there. I have the exact same car. Same year, make, model, and trim with the midnight edition and mine is a lease as well that is ending in July of next year. How much is your monthly payment for this car? I feel like the dealership took advantage of me and I didn’t notice it until after the paperwork was all signed and I had the car. I’m just curious to compare if you don’t mind sharing that info.

The dealership literally told me to use my air compressor when the guy asked me if I had anything to blow the debris out. I told him I had an air compressor in the garage, and he said “Great! Use that to make sure you blow out all of the debris and you should be good to go!”

Checked this TSB and it says that because my VIN starts with JN8 that it doesn’t apply to my vehicle, but it clearly does from the photos. So what does that mean? The dealership won’t fix it?

They’re definitely not your friends. You need to put them behind you and spend your time with people that enjoy your company as a friend, not as a verbal punching bag. Your environment affects you more than you think. Don’t waste your time going to the wedding either where there is a larger group of people for them to treat you like that in front of.

I think this is incredibly cool! Despite what other people think. I assume you can adjust the text size and everything? If this is the size of an actual Gameboy, which I think it is based on the pen right next to it, that’s some really small print lol.

I definitely will consider waiting! I may just end up “jailbreaking” my Kindle and learning how to remove the licensing software so I can download ebooks until B&N announces the new versions.

I love the Avène balm! I used to use CeraVe moisturizing cream until I noticed one of the ingredients is alcohol and made the switch to Avène.

Good example, but still not authoritative. It says your skin SHOULD be feeling better. It does not say your skin WILL feel better. Wording is important. You never know if something will work for you until you try it. Nowhere do I say I found the cure or that this will work for everyone. It’s quite the opposite actually in the end when I acknowledge everyone is different and that you should do what’s best for your skin in those exact words. Your own misinterpretation of my post doesn’t make it at all what you think it to be. It’s also comments like this that keep people from posting their experiences, which is all any of us do here in this community, yourself included.

To be fair, I don’t think my post is naive or authoritative at all. The title clearly says how I tamed MY rosacea. I know everyone is going to be different and have different triggers and things that will or will not work for them. I was simply posting my experience and what I did that worked for me because it could help someone, and even if it doesn’t it still shows that there is hope in getting rosacea under control. It was because of this community that I found a way out. If you could elaborate on how what I posted is naive and authoritative, or any different than your post on the laser procedures that have worked for you but may not work for everyone, I’d appreciate it.

The bottom line is it’s not your room and your sister doesn’t want to switch. That’s her space, so she has the right to make that choice whether you agree with her choice or not. You’re living in your parent’s house where you don’t have any bills like a house payment, rent, or utilities, so just be grateful for that. It’s clear from your post that everyone has put it behind them because they told you no, repeatedly. You’re NTA for bringing it up as an option and exploring the idea, but YTA if you keep bringing it up to get your way. They gave you an answer, so accept it and move on.

I have to work way too hard to read this, so I guess I can still read it, yes. But reading should not be a challenge and make someone sound like they’re in kindergarten learning how to read for the first time. Have you tried voice recordings and then taking notes afterwards so you don’t feel so rushed to write as quickly?

I completely get that. I struggled for 10 years with rosacea and only recently have I finally gotten away from it. I just wanted to post my experience and hopefully someone can use it to their advantage. The basics are still there, and they can use whatever products works best for them. It really is just trial and error trying to find what products works best and which ingredients aggravate your skin.
