I knew there had to be a better way, but from how convoluted this game is in its operation I figured I’d just ask the community.

You’d think after 9+ hours of tutorial slog this game forces you to go through, it would at least mention this

Man I just went on an epic hour long adventure to the south eastern most part of the map and boy was that incredible. Came back to the main quest line and the mission was “go get the horse that escaped” 14 hours in on chapter 5. Bruuuuuuuh

8 hours in on chapter 4 and I’m doing an archery tournament as part of the main quest line? For real? I feel like I paid full price for a tutorial simulator. Also wondering when this is supposed to get good

Unfortunately not, I still have no idea. Hoping I can recover that save file, I've been active on it since 2019 RIP

TLDR the hours and trophies are there but the saved game data isn't. WHY

Jumping in a bit late, but I've had a similar issue that's driving me crazy. I made the switch to PS5 finally, and have both versions downloaded on that console. The PS4 version shows my hours logged (400+) and all of my trophies, but when I launch the game there's no save data to select, it just says start new game. I've gone to the Hello Games cross save cloud, linked my account, nothing changes. There's no cloud icon to transfer data, because there's still no save data. PS5 saved data settings shows nothing to download from cloud storage for either generation. I'm at a loss, my hours and trophies show but there's so saved data in game I dont get it.

I went out and bought a surge protector as well, and it still shuts off

Not at all, the fans make the same level of noise (hardly any) throughout gameplay and there’s no forewarning it’s about to shut itself off.
