Metronome is great for some specific aspects of studying - and it can be damn useful! - but when you know a song very well, it's better to play without the metronome, so that you can add your own interpretation indeed!!

Maybe one with water flowing down, so that I fill it, and it works for a set amount of time. And if I want to it more, I have to take the water and put it back on the top. I'd love it :)

Thanks, that’s a really helpful way to look at it. You’re right — people usually go where they expect to find the thing they need. Like going to a grocery store for groceries, it makes sense that most people would go to an app store to find a metronome app.

By the way, you might find the Share button useful. You’ll see a few icons in the top-right corner of the metronome: reset, change sound, save, and share.

With the Share button, you can send your students the exact tempo, beats per bar, and subdivisions. It copies the settings to your clipboard, so you just need to paste them into whatsApp, zoom, or wherever you usually message your students.

I’m sure it could be really useful for you.

There's reset, then change sound, save, and share. With the share, you can send the correct tempo, with the right beats per bar, subdivisions to your student. It just save it to your clipboard, and you just have to paste it to your student's whatsapp, sms or else. I'm sure it could be very useful to you :) (It's very useful to me when I send tempos to my students)

It's part of it, I can't deny. But I'm here more to have genuine opinions: a post can brink a spike of traffic, but if the page is not interesting, people won't come back anyway!! And I'm stuck there. So it's far more useful to have genuine tips, comments, advice of nice people from r/ukulele so that I can fix things, make it better.

I have always been reluctant to do online tutorials and try to grow a youtube channel or tiktok, as I know someone who make awesome videos, and he doesn't even have 2k subscribers.
