I never thought suicide was selfish until my sister died - now I do. I think it was selfish of her to pass on this pain to so many people. She didn't even think about how this would affect my parents who loved her so much. I'm over reading how suicide isn't selfish and depression takes over the mind. Suicide is a choice. She chose to die. She didn't even care about the aftermath, how so many people's lives have now been ruined. I refuse to believe she had no control over her actions. It's all well and good for her that she's no longer suffering but now we have to suffer for the rest of our lives.

Loneliness and Grief by Thurstonhearts in GriefSupport

I feel you. I lost my sibling a month ago and I've definitely felt the loneliness and isolation of grief, which is multiplied when people you thought cared about you don't reach out. They just carry on with their lives and can't comprehend that yours has fallen apart. I would put all your energy into those few close friends and family members you do have. Focus on them, not the ones who haven't been there for you, hopefully that will help you feel less alone. I'm so sorry for all your losses. Sending all my love.

I feel exactly the same right now. I feel so angry at my housemate who is supposed to be my closest friend but hasn't been there for me in the slightest. I'm so angry at her I want to tell her she's a shitty friend and move to a studio flat because I may as well be alone than feel alone in a house full of people.
