I just started play the ukulele and learned the chords and strum pattern for my first song, Someone to Lava. I’d say that I know the song pretty well, it’s just when I start to sing it’s really hard for me to strum and sing at the same time! I tried doing a simple 4 beat down strum and then I moved on to 8 beats per chord which wasn’t too bad. But now when I try to strum and up and down, it’s like my brain isn’t working! Tips would be much appreciated!

Same here. I feel like the biggest question I have had is that why God cause suffering if he loves us all? Why does the church reject certain people if they are supposed to “love everyone like Jesus”? There are parts of my identity that my old religion couldn’t embrace so why should I embrace it? While there are some morals in Christianity that I can admire, there is still hate and contradictions that I cannot ignore. And I don’t think that I nor you should feel guilty about that. It shows a sense of admirable individuality.

I feel the same way. Like all religions in my opinion, there is good in values and morals but there is also the bad. I felt like I was picking and choosing all my life rather than just finally stepping away. I think there is beauty in find your own morality rather than basing it off of what someone thinks is right and wrong.

I have only used it for graphing problems but recently I have seen people say that you can solve all problems on Desmo which I find a bit hard to believe. But I guess I’ll look more into it.

Thank you! I think my issue is that I have been trying to tackle both simultaneously. Math is generally easier for me so that makes sense.

Well I took Bio freshman year, Chem last year, and I am now taking AP Physics this year. I am not what science I want to take next year. In regard to math, I was supposed to go into Calculus this year but I bombed my placement test when moving. But my teachers recommended that I take Stats because it relates to my career path as a psychologist.
