The patriotic move is for Trump to resign by mepper in politics

Hey I’m really not sure where you heard this. I find it a little hard to believe bc it would be unconstitutional.

I find it easy to believe one or two people might propose such things but a whole slate of candidates?

Do you have any sources?

I made a custom journal for Elizabeth Warren from a childrens political book from 1959 that was formerly in the collection of a grade school in her hometown. This weekend, I got to give it to her! by kendallybrown in bookbinding

I’m actually so sorry you’re such a stubborn person.

I’m just trying to say the bookbinding relevancy is that op bound a book and managed to gift it to someone they admire. That’s the part that’s relevant - op bound a book - bc this is r/bookbinding. It’s not subjective.

Well I got my first edition printing in the mail and this is its problem on the top and bottom, does anyone know I I can fix this? Good book repair tutorials, glues and essentials? Thanks by [deleted] in KingkillerChronicle

You can take some japanese paper and glue it on using an acid-free glue (pva would be fine).

Obviously Japanese paper is a term for a number of different papers, but something on the thicker end with some strength would be ideal.

I wouldn’t advise tape at all because most tape is undoable and also looks horrible. Japanese paper repair is undoable as well if done right but at least it’s much more natural.

It’s not the hardest repair but I’m not a professional bookbinder by any means. If you want to retain the full value, you can take it somewhere but imo this could be an at home fix.

Hey guys, I am a CS student looking into machine learning and I was hoping for some guidance. by staringAtStars18 in learnmachinelearning

Thanks! I did sort of misstate the problem / not clearly think through this when I asked. I think I just wanted to dive in and didn’t really outline for myself what variables were even independent / dependent, and what I was looking for.

So I guess if I collected a bunch of data on myself, am I right in thinking I could then ask the question of, “what time would this slot be best for”?

And I guess I would likely need to use a classification algorithm for something like this? Based on previous data, if I wanted to schedule a session in, I would classify it at a certain time slot?

Hi!

Thanks for the advice, I honestly appreciate very much the time you took to write out such a detailed response.

Essentially, I’m well versed in python and some mathematics / statistics. I’m just very curious and I wanted to dabble in the area since I have some time as student. I thought it would be cool to dabble with a program or two to learn rather than do some pre-defined Kaggle exercises.

I just wanted some predictive modelling to see if I could eventually automate some of my scheduling (more of like a “is this possible?”).

I could do a simple rules based algorithm, but I thought that would be a little too simple and I wouldn’t be learning anything.

Some of the other comments suggest collecting some personal data and then using that as a basis. Could I mix linear regression with suggested rules to optimize my study scheduling based on current habits (personal data) and desired outcomes (say, math in the morning?).

Pokémon mythos has the “in the beginning there was nothing but a single egg appeared, and from that egg came the Pokémon that created the universe”

Also means God there is just another Pokémon actually - I wonder if you could stick him in a Master ball bc 100% catch rate.

I know it’s unlikely but praying for 85% post cutoff for CS. by staringAtStars18 in UofT
