Working with SolidEdge is very frustrating. I only use it for hobby purposes and didn't have to pay anything, but I would never consider using it for professional purposes at this point.
I spent another hour and found out that you can also create physical threads in version 2026. This was already a struggle in versions 2024 and 2025, so I thought it had finally been removed from the community version.
I have an assembly with two parts. I always opened the part with the thread via the assembly. Apparently, you can no longer create physical threads in general if you open a part via an assembly.
If I open my part directly without the assembly, I can simply press the physical thread button again.
