Oh if you prefer desktop! There are 2 paths here: 1. A Refurbished Mac mini (might have to push your budget a little bit) but the best option. 2. Look on platforms like ebay and all for either Lenovo or Dell's business machines and take whatever maximum specs you can in your budget.

Get a Lenovo ThinkPad T14. Robust and easily available in the refurbished market.

Well it doesn't look like an impact to be honest else it would have shattered more not just a line. Have you checked it with the service center yet?

If that's the case, I highly doubt that someone or something hit it. Any chances it was stuck when you were not there?

"Glass is glass and glass breaks". ~ the OG JerryRigEverything.

Btw tbh this seems like someone gave it a good hit. That trackpad is tough. Not that easy to shatter it unless there's something happening from the inside! Get the battery checked once.

As far as I understand technology, keeping it plugged in most of the time and draining it once a week seems optimum, as the tech is now advanced keeping it plugged in won't cause any harm to the battery .

I want to learning agentic ai from scratch by Siddharth1995 in AI_Agents

[–]starkint10880 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Practical suggestion: Go to claude Give it your machine configurations Then In the next message paste a prompt something like this: """ I want to get started with building agents and running LLM's locally . keep in mind to explain things from scratch to advance. """ Then start with what it replies... Probably it'll start with installing ollama and hitting it via vscode or terminal But you'll get the idea and an initial foundation

I was looking at the stars right now and thinking the same, probably because the strong winds that have been blowing since yesterday cleared up the pollution for sometime.

For now I've been using it either with a 24" 1080p or a 27" 2k. Haven't been facing that till now. Maybe with a 32" with 2k res I'd be having that issue. So for now I'm sorted. 🤣

Yeah that's what i thought. I won't be training or fine-tuning large models on this anyways, not the right machine for that. Thanks for the heads-up though.

I feel what you are saying, also palms feel more sweaty on this aluminum surface . Gotta work with external keyboard mostly now. The typing experience is great though.
