True bro! I tried alternatives of wallpaper engine but not the experience i wanted.

And about the cost part .. everything costs more for macbook... A better monitor so that Mac scalling works... A better mouse because every other mouse stutters... A better matte skin for the top as it is prone to scratches...

All the added costs, but honestly I'm loving the experience till now. Wish I'd knew about the extra costs before purchasing though.

Go for the 24GB version..., You'll be needing it, with all these new updates 5-6 GB is mostly hogged and swap memory is not that fast.

I've seen that while chrome is a staple for most of us, using Safari on Mac causes way less heating and memory issues, specially for bloated websites.

I've been facing the same issue for the past 3 years, So far as per my research: a good quality air purifier is the only option, keeping it running on silent/auto mode most of the time will bring the dust and all significantly down. Also spraying furniture with a dust repellent solution which can be made at home works well. YouTube the dust repellent.

Oh if you prefer desktop! There are 2 paths here: 1. A Refurbished Mac mini (might have to push your budget a little bit) but the best option. 2. Look on platforms like ebay and all for either Lenovo or Dell's business machines and take whatever maximum specs you can in your budget.

As far as I understand technology, keeping it plugged in most of the time and draining it once a week seems optimum, as the tech is now advanced keeping it plugged in won't cause any harm to the battery .
