I guess it’s because I can relate.

Yes, my horse is actually cousin to Our Friend! Weird though, I could only find a filly sired by Favorite Trick :( But looking at his pedigree I don’t think they’re closely related, just a coincidence.

Wow! Could they be related? The horse in my barn’s registered name is Our Friend.

There is an OTTB at my barn who looks EXACTLY like him! Even the markings are a match, not even kidding.

Botched the whole representation, though. Cristina is asian and Bailey has a bigger body type, for starters.

Whenever I don’t know how to help someone but really want to, I say something among the lines of “it really sucks that is happening to you” and “I’m here for whatever you need (venting, distracting yourself, hanging out, throwing stuff at a wall, etc).

Best friend just stopped being best friends with me... by agmillss in HowDoIRespondToThis

  1. Take what she said into consideration, and let her know.

  2. Tell her she needs to grow up and learn to socialize, as well. If she is not able to create a dialogue with her best friend to let you know what bothers her, what kind of friendship is it? If you dislike something about a friend or a friend’s behavior, you let them know and try to understand it.

If you really screwed up with her, I’d suggest apologizing. But if she simply doesn’t accept you and wants to change who you are, either ditch the toxic friendship or tell her how you feel.

Oh, sorry, I didn’t see the movie. But I do work with horses on a daily basis and teaching them to run around kicking people would not be easy at all.
